I must be the only idiot who likes this preason. (and I HATED season 8)

I hated season 8 from the bottom of my heart with every fibre of my being, but I like this preseason. My reasons for this are:

  • I can play AP champions again.
  • Feeding botlane doesn't automatically lose the game.
  • Solo laners can carry and have some agency over the game
  • Comebacks are possible. I appreciate high shut down gold, because by working together you can have a fighting chance against early snowball. I also understand if this needs to be slightly lowered.
  • Games are shorter, and while I do prefer longer games, I don't think Riot will ever change their stance on this.

Damage too high? Yeah it probably is. To me, the game feels like it's going back to a time when I enjoyed myself.

Honestly the game doesnt feel too very different besides the no flat stats. Depending on the rune page determined if you did more damage or took less, or had a funky exp boost for level 2 on first wave.

Thats the only reason that it feels different for some people, is that they had full defence runes pretty much.

The damage is also there, but honestly after i got used to the new squishier side of things, it feels just like normal now to me.

In otherwords, it is closer to S7 now with a mix of S8. You have some flat stats to add in.
