If you set the rank category to Bronze+, ADC is the least played role. If you set it to Global, it is the least played role. If you set it to Silver+, it is the 2nd least played role. If you set it to Gold+, it is the 2nd least played role.
I have no horse in this race, but statistically it is actually the least played role. Then Jungle. Then Support. Then Mid. Then Top. My source is the same as yours, I just adjusted it for all ranks rather than Platinum+.
Top has 0 impact on the game what the hell.
Hashinshin, is late, you should go to sleep.
It doesn't. Tell me how they can impact any other lanes.
Being pushed in top can cause the enemy jungler to go to your lane
That applies to all lanes. That feels like hell for the laner.
That aside, what exactly does top lane have that others don't? How do they impact the game more than mid, bot, jg, or support.
Top has 0 impact on the game what the hell.
The statement is obviously a hyperbole. What I mean is top lane's influence on the game state, compared to any other role, is marginal.
Riot balances the game around plat+
welcome to league of legends if you're new
Riot HAS made balance changes for ranks below plat+.
That said, what does balance have to do with my post? The only thing you brought up in your original post is role popularity. Plat+ only makes up 10% or less of the player base, so a correction was necessary before everyone bought into your, "propaganda"
This thread is pointless because you are complaining about people who are actually statistically correct.

No
No
Yes.
Low ELO pub stomp champions that don't get played in the LCS are left in their current state so they don't become overbearing in low ELO. Master Yi and Akali can destroy in low ELO but never see professional play (until the duo boosting cheese over the last couple weeks for Yi, but that's more than just a Yi problem), so they're left in their current state. The entire support role was changed because the majority of the playerbase didn't like playing support.
Because as we all know, bronze is the level that riot should balance the game around.
As stated before, I have no horse in this race. However, your post just doesn't really mean anything. People complain that the game should only be balanced around Pro level. People complain that the game should be balanced around their own rank in solo queue. That is a completely separate debate that has nothing to do with this thread or my post.
Balance is not the same thing as which roles are played this most.
Where did Pademic Bunch said that????
Now compare that to popularity pre 8.11.
It's not fallen to its plateau yet. It's still falling.
Nop it isn't it was always behind mid lane which is the most played role in the game since the game existed, and it did not change actually no role has changed, toplane is still after support support is still the least played and jungle is 3rd
unless you want to take a look at low elo
Not disagree, but what's the source?

listen
there is no fucking way bot is unpopular when you have 5 or 6 classes played in that lane
ADC is the least played role because the majority of the playerbase plays it the least. That has nothing to do with balance, and everything to do with statistics.
Despite rampant adoration, plat+ players are not gods at every role, a plat can easily play like a silver on 4 out of 5 roles. It costs their winrate less to switch from maining caitlyn to playing ezreal who is still viable. So while they'll happily switch to OP champions and builds when metas shift, switching role is going to lag a LONG time.
