Does the enemy team have 3 or more ranged champs? Dont pick her.

Does the enemy team have a lot of mobility? Dont pick her.

Does the enemy team have a lot of tools to kite? Dont pick her.

Does the enemy team have lots of hard CC? Don't pick her.

Is the enemy team primarily melee, have few hard CC, and limited mobility? Pick Illaoi or pick Darius for more reliability.

IMO, Illaoi just needs to have her W's range increased, and her ult needs to be made in to an on-hit that makes her leap, like her W does. Boom, she's more balanced.
