Forget this champion. Why the hell is she a thing now? Because voyboy started showing up on my twitch front page/is streaming again? Fuck your politics. Make her single target like an assassin should be. Insane aoe bursts (PLURAl! BURSTS! AS IN MORE THAN ONE) all on reset-able cool downs. Thats not reasonable. Now she can seige towers better than before, in addition to having a better early game as well and has NO mana costs. FREE SEIGE! FREE RESETS! FREE PENTAKILL(S)! PLURAL!

You are like the one katarina hater among all the Zed/Talon/Rengar/Lee complainers out there right now. Kat is fine. Her early game was god awful so these little buffs are helping that. She's also extremely squishy and one form of CC can stop her ult so she has to pick and choose when to jump in and ult, and if she didn't do it right, bam she has no escape and is most likely dead. Unlike Zed who can bam push R and blink back to safety after he murdered someone.

The problem I have with zed and katarina is their poke which is not linked to mana costs.

The problem that I have with Talon and Rengar is that there is literally nothing you can do to them when they have the dmg to instagib you. 0 counterplay..

Overall, assassins just are too popular when they are strong and they snuff out every other midlaner archetype. Thats something I have against all assassins. You could say the same about adc's, but I never experienced anything but adc bot so I dont know enough to miss it.

Kat has to constantly poke with Q to be able to go in on someone. Zed.....can take a ton of health out with one Q combo.

Talon and Rengar, buy pinks and move away when you see Talon's blades open up, and the exclamation point over your head appears when Rengar ults. Buy pinks and place them down when they ult. CC them and they can't do anything.

Basically, the only assassin right now that is too popular and too overpowered, is Zed. All the others are easier to deal with.

Akali isn't that strong. The craze of Tank Akali is starting to go around, but I have never seen it personally. Just CC her when she jumps on you and bam, done with.

Zed is the main problem these days.

Kat's and Zed's poke is not even in the same league. Just compare the abilities. Zed's Q has higher base damage, far higher scaling, longer range, only a 6 sec CD, and can be copied by his W. 1/3 of the damage from Kat's Q is from proccing the mark, which means melee range, which means a lot of risk for losing the trade.

The CC creep in LoL has made Katarina not viable for years. She still requires a great amount of skill from the person playing her, as well as a large lack of skill from the enemy team to not CC her. A 400? range ult requires she leap into the middle of enemies making landing CC almost guaranteed. She is at best a casual pick for a highly skilled player.

35% damage reduction from Shunpo in seasons 1-2 was OP :D.

She did enough dmg to our tristana in the amount of time it takes trist to ult her away that tristana died to random aoe. Sure, kat is balanced in higher elo. However, theres nothing I can do if my jungler goes 0/5 to the enemy kateriana. Im tired of loosing games because of one feeder and an assassin mid. I dont have time to play enough games that this will balance out. If I crush my lane as tristana, I want a chance to play it out in a seige scenario.

I dont want to get poked down by free katarina q's or die in the chaos that a reckless katarina engage causes. How does poke fit an assassins kit anyway?

why are you complaining about her? i always pick Morgana into her and thanks to black shield and item 3001 / item 3027 she's ruined. plus shes pretty squishy and with morg's protectiveness with black shield how can you lose

I complain because its not about what I pick. Its about what my midlaner picks and whether my shyvanna chooses to farm her sated devourer or chooses to repeatedly aggress kat and die to her under her tower.

I picked tristana. She has a nice disruption for the kat ultimate. Kat still instagibbed me. I also built hex drinker. Not enough.
