THE CHAMPION PRICES ARE TO DAMN HIGH

When games like street fighter off you special deals to buy every character from certain seasons, when brawlhalla gives you everyone for 20, when Smite offers it's own deals, point is i'm making, almost every famous game right now has some fair deal to help you unlock every character fast or at the very least a large majority. When I first joined this game, on my main account I exclusively only played on it for years, and it took me a little more than a year to unlock every champion in the game. This was with me averaging six games a day for a whole year with a decent win rate of fity fifty. I wasn't some scrub who lost every game, I won some, and I lost some, Now with blue essence it still takes roughly the same amount of time.

TLDR: TO DAMN HIGH

Obviously they are going to prices high. They want people to play the game. If you want the champion, you either spend time grinding BE or you spend RP. Riot is a company. Even though it is trying to help the community, it has paychecks and bills that they have to write.

Brawlhalla's roster is a fraction of league of legends. Street Fighter's roaster is also a fraction. Smite... I dont play smite to know about its roster or deals.

With Brawlhalla and Street Fighter, both are (relatively) similar games in concept, 2 (brawlhalla 2-8) characters fight it out for around 5 minutes. With a Moba, you can make unique builds, play a different role, try a different style, and overall change the way you play. All for 1 character. You get much more mileage out of a Moba character than a Fighter character, atleast in my opinion, since fighters are subjective. Most players will only really enjoy playing lets say, 20% of the game's roster, making the prices less daunting.

If I will say one thing, you should be able to put a champion to the test in a normals game or two.
