I Might Main Udyr this Season

Exceptional wave clear, exceptional objective control, exceptional ganks, good sustain, good escape tools. And his kit is very adaptive.

I generally start my clear path at my own red then roam to the enemy blue where I either steal the buff or find the enemy jungle and attempt first blood.

My skill path is usually

Tiger>Bear>Turtle>Tiger>Tiger>Bear>Tiger>Bear>Bear>Bear>Turtle>Turtle>Turtle>Turtle

I take Bear at 2 so I can secure first blood more easily.

I take Fleet Footwork as my keystone for the MS buff against enemies and for an even easier time clearing camps as well as securing dragon.

I tend to struggle with Trinity Force, however, and I find that it leaves me incredibly squishy against enemies. Is it wrong that I prefer Black Cleaver? I enjoy more success with BC than I do with TF, but that could just be me being bad and enemies being bronze.

I almost always manage to secure most, if not all, drakes and am able to snag first drake solo at level 3 or 4. I make my first back when I can afford to buy Red Smite, Hunter's Potion, Boots, and a Control Ward. I head straight to drake where I take scuttle unless it's already dead and I plant my red right in the dragon pit to make sure the enemy has no vision on it (they usually don't) then I check to make sure all enemies are in their lanes and, as long as they are, I initiate dragon while maintaining a close eye on lanes.

Only time I struggle with first drake is against the likes of Warwick, who also likes to take an early drake. With him as my enemy, it's a race and, sometimes, a duel over it that ends with one or both of us dead and neither team getting first drake that early.

With all of that said, any tips, tricks, and advice for playing Udyr that I've not figured for myself already?

You could try Black Cleaver + Iceborn Gauntlet if you don't like being squishy with Trinity Force.

That said Trinity force is pretty strong for Udyr, so I wouldn't suggest you abandon it entirely. You might find success with it if you try building Sterak's Gauge and Titanic Hydra, a fun bonus is that you can use Titanic Hydra as an autoattack reset so you can get some faster procs off with your abilities' x-hit-passives.
