I've been getting more and more games where I'm actually teamed up and against people my level (which is rock bottom). It used to be that I would be the only unranked out of a team of golds and plats against golds and plats.
Or is it because it's the beginning of the season? Nothing serious, just curious as to why this is.
JavelinJoe1 votesMost players are currently playing ranked because of the new season. So the "Normal Queue Solo Players" are left to play against themselves, which makes for likely more low skill play because many of them don't play competitively, or only play once in a while. Basically less players playing normals, means more chances to get closer matches because the game does not have to sift through all of the smurf accounts, premades, etc...
Enjoy it for the month or so while it lasts.
JavelinJoe1 votesSame for the most part. Reached gold 5 once when I really tried for a month, but been silver at most ever since because I was not interested in the grind.
Der Lindwurm1 votesI haven't noticed. You still get a lot of players in games where they are obviously in way over their head or just ROFL-stomping everyone and being a toxic douche about it. But, I guess normal games are a bit less totally one sided compared to ranked.
