My only problem with Kayn is it can take about 15-20 minutes to get the transformation you want.

For those who play Kayn, you know the situation I'm talking about. The game is 15 minutes in and your passive meter is almost filled and a team fight breaks out. You don't really have a choice on who to hit and when the fight is done, your passive is filled and you get the transformation you don't want.

You then have to wait about 4 minutes more the get the Kayn you do want.

Has anyone else experience this? It quit frustrating to wait that long to transform.

I've thought about that since unless you kill someone, which isn't always going to be the case, he doesn't exactly get a lot from AA/abilities, not to mention you might not get the form needed causing further delays. Been messing around with deathfire grasp mastery to get additional drops with the potion to grind out the passive.

Gimping your damage and utility to transform faster? No, that's terrible.

I honestly dont why he has such a big delay for allowing the choice of either form. What's gained from a gameplay standpoint?

Up to his transformation he doesnt have a passive, instant minus. He needs to farm champions to transform, another minus. When he finally manages to unlock transformation, the other is locked for a significant time, another minus The only positive about his transformation is that he can EVENTUALLY choose either assassin or bruiser and change his role midgame, but given that he had to go so far just to achieve that I think it loses a lot of value, since he goes from blatantly BAD, to MEH, since only then does he become an actual champion.
