Darius and Twitxh should apply the first damage of their dot on their autos

Sort of like red buff applying first bit of damage on initial auto hits but with darius and twitch passive.

Make full attack speed darius a legit and scary and funny off meta build, same with twitch.

Reasons why this shouldnt happen? Id like to hear opinions.

It's fine on twitch, because he will never build TL and the dmg is true so won't proc cleaver, but if Darius got this, he could instarpoc Thunderlords with just the w, and it would speed up his max cleaver stacks. I actually even doubt this would be used to play AS darius, it would instead encourage just a higher dmg, even more oppressive early game, but squishier late game from the darius, also giving him access to even more arpen.

But twitch could use that little love tap.

Iirc thunderlorda doesnt help darius proc thunderlords. I thought it would encourage attack speed runes to get max stacks faster

Sorry for late reply. DOTs don't add into tl, but the application of a dot does. For example, with Casseio, if you aa, aa, then hit q that procs tl. If you just hit q, tl won't proc even after three ticks of poison.

Basically, Darius w would count as three hits. AA, Modifier, and dot. It doesn't currently proc because there's no dmg on application, which is different from cass, who's first tick of poison happens immediately on application.

On-hit DOTs and on-spell DOTs are treated differently in many instances.

In this case, Darius' passive and Twitch's passive are on-hit DOT effects which would not count towards Thunderlord's Decree.

Are you sure the difference in TL procs is coming from being onhit vs onspell?

Have you tested it with red buff? Or Teemo AA? That would be easiest. If teemo with his poison procs tl in 2 aas or 3 aas. I haven't seen enough teemo to remember.

IIRC, Teemo takes three autoattacks to proc Thunderlord's Decree even when he has points in his E.

Red buff has absolutely no effect on how quickly you can proc Thunderlord's Decree.

What kind of boosted ass darius runs thunderlords anyways.

If darius is going to delve into the cunning tree then it's stormraiders surge for when he wants to follow up the first dunk with more dunks without getting kited.
