Quality of life improvement for Thresh?

Do you think its possible to give Thresh the ability to proc the execution passive of ? Yes, he is still able to proc the healing and gold passive, but since he is ranged, this makes it difficult to effectively use those passive charges.

I do not feel this would be a direct buff, and if it is just a direct buff, then it should be a very a subtle buff, since most players who play Thresh already build the item on him most of the time.

Now, mind you, I do agree that Thresh is NOT in need of any buffs. In fact, I feel he is perfect as he is right now. So, if this change would be too much, or spawn some very unfavorable matchups, or cause him to snowball the lane too hard, than, by all means, let me know.

I just find it strange that a tanky, hard engage support like Thresh is the only one of his kind that can't proc the execution passive. High elo player can already do this easily, but the lower elo players do have a hard time sometimes achieving this. I mean, Riot already made changes like this to Lee Sin by moving some power around in his passive, and granting a very situational buff to his ultimate. Is doing something almost on the same lines for Thresh too much to ask for?
