Trinity Force is probably the best Graves item for top lane except Sheen doesn't activate at all when Graves uses his E. You expect to E, get Sheen proc, then auto attack with the extra damage but the E doesn't apply anything. Absolutely ridiculous.

Why would it be an intentional feature? It’s an ability. I should be getting Sheen procs after I use it.

Could be intentional due to how his basic attacks work.
I mean, how would Sheen even work? Would each pellet apply the full Sheen damage to the targets they hit? Would the Sheen damage be divided between each pellet? Would it only apply Sheen if all pellets hit the same target?
That's why I'm thinking it might be intentional.

Well, in that case, it's probably a bug, though you could have specified that in your post.

Well, he didn't say Sheen doesn't work with E specifically, he just said it doesn't work with the E.
I just assumed (because I build Sheen on Graves in the first place) that none of his abilities proc Sheen because of the way his autos work.

That's the same thing lol. He specifically mentioned that it doesn't work with E. He didn't make a broad statement saying it doesn't work with Graves' abilities or some abilities, he specifically stated it doesn't work with E.

Again, like I said, I just assumed he meant it doesn't work with all of the abilities, as I never build Sheen on Graves myself, so I wouldn't know if the problem only applies to his E.

Normally would be a great item for him but its bugged on his E where it will kill the minion you're trying to punt instantly if the damage from the ludens proc would be enough to kill it instead of applying it after the minion stops like his E normally does without ludens. Been this way forever....
