Top lane makes me feel not impactful for carrying

It seems impossible honestly, I go fiora 8/4, stomp my laner out so hard early, he was 0/7 and I got first blood turret, I tp bot to help them get turret and a kill, then I have to stay top because my laner got to really push while I was bot. My laner suddenly gets 9 kills, me only dying to him once as his 9TH kill. Like it's absolutely infuriating how someone can get stomped the hell out of lane to suddenly come back because his team carries him. I feel like top has such a little impact on the game late because if bot lane or mid fed, or both, you lose. Instantly, and how is that fair to the player? Honestly.

Play lethality Graves lol He wave clears so fast with just one Q alone after getting a duskblade and can roam heavily.

If you are carrying, giving up your top tower for a second tier mid tower or some other important objective is perfectly acceptable. If the enemy top is a tryndamere, then it's probably better to let your mid do the waveclear or have sup drop a zzrot while you keep your fed ass with the team.
