Why Wont People Listen & Respond To Pings?

I just dont understand what goes through peoples head when they are completely ignoring pings from multiple teammates and warnings typed in the chat. What good do you think is going to come from it?

Maybe you just remember that one time when you ignored the help requests and your team actually won the 4v5 or 3v5 and you felt like a hero because you was able to keep pushing and win the game? Sounds like a glory hog to me because majority of the time that is not how it goes.

Tired of having long fought come from behind 45+ minute games, just to lose it in a matter of seconds because someone wants to have tunnel vision or be the hero.

But tunnel vision wasnt even the case that led me to make this post.....this EZ was just completely ignoring pings all game then before enemy gets into our base with a open nexus we ping him some more while hes pushing a top lane that still had 2 turrets up. He just stands there and sends his ult. He had plenty of time to get back to the base before the fight even started. We illed 3 of them....and the other were really low.......if he would of just based we would of won the fight........not saying we would of won the game off that fight but damn....listen and respond to pings.... at least give us a chance.
