I see a lot of champs getting worked on/ reworks/ changes for NO convincing reasons..

Rework? outta nowhere.

You can constantly work on those "AP" items, but you can't add 1 more **_Lethality _**item for diversity. [No mage hate, just facts]

and many of you must be wondering why the Mages are receiving all of those Mana nerfs. it's because in around 2 patches the ADCs will probably get a big nerf hammer and mages will be one of different classes to be brought to botlane , so from **their **point of view, Mages shouldn't be able to spam infinite spells and win more trades and still be able to lane with extra Mana.

Talon is in a solid spot right now, and is currently getting a significant buff/bugfix on his Q on the PBE.

Lux is getting worked on because she's a terrible champion and needs help somewhere. She also has issues with her E being very binary, so there are good arguments to give her some work.

Wukong could use work (he's like Lux imo, too binary and iffy in most games) and Ryze is so problematic he needs work even though I agree it's unfair how much more effort he gets compared to some other old champions.

If you approach a fight correctly the Q isn't your only gapcloser. You're not like Akali, you don't rush into your target, you flank and surprise them. I admit it's harder to do lategame, but that's Talon's weaker point of the game anyway.

I'd argue Wukong needs more work than just a touch-up. Wukong is an incredibly basic, simplistic champion whose only claim to fame is stealth tricks with his clone. For a character as iconic as the monkey king/ Sun Wukong. He should really be a tier 1 rework imo.

Fair enough, he needs a lot of work. But hey, I didn't specify exactly how much, honestly a full blown VGU is the best option for him. He's binary and needs help.

Wukong's problem is ironically, his success. Yes he lacks reasons to puck him and is binary but he doesn't have any real toxic abilities (in face he's probably the best example of a fair stealth mechanic in the game) , isn't causing huge balance problems and isn't horrendously out dated visually.

Because of this he's low priority compared to champs like Nunu and Akali. He works just good enough to not be a troll pick but not well enough to be picked most of the time.

to BE fair. void staff is a total pen item compared to LW items being bonus pen. and im told that magic resist is more valuable then armor so that can be a reason why its like that

the thing with armor is that you need to stack tons of armor just to be able to survive the incoming damage from ADCs because of their insane amounts of sustained damage and crits.

proof of that? even against a team with 4 APs, and only the ADC dealing physical damage, if you are playing a tank, you still need to dedicate half of your build to armor, just because otherwise the ADC shreds you. you don't see the reverse hapenning with teams that have 4 ADs and only the mage doing magic damage; against one mage, one magic resistance item will often be enough to survive, and by stacking HP, you survive their burst regardless.

that's why void staff is total penetration; HP already counter most mages as it is, if void staff was bonus pen, mages would deal laughable damage to a tank and against squishies that have items like maw

whereas an adc does not have this problem

I was agreeing with you until you said that you wanted an extra lethality item. Lethality was one of the reason why the game went downhill since it was added, it has a very bad influence on the game and Riot should probably bring back old armor pen and dump entirely lethality. Adding even more of it is probably the worse thing that could happen right now. Even if you call Riot's constant work on AP items a "fact", this is only recently true since it has been over a year that Mage itemisation was completely dumped and considered garbage while AD itemisation only got stronger and stronger for Litterally no viable reasons. Its only justice for Mage items to get some love, it was either that or dumping the AD itemisation to bring them on even grounds
