If sylas is going to exist he has to be way less safe and easy..

Like you basically gave him gangplanks heal but he actually builds ap, has 3 gap open/closers excluding whatever ult he steals, oh and a 90% ap scaling shield on top of 180 base.

WHAT?

If his self-mitigation is going to scale that high it should be less cheesy like have it's scaling depend on recent damage taken/done/time in combat etc..

Not to mention his point click execute..

In my opinion, and i have never had serious issue with sylas unless he's been fed.... Is that his ult simply needs the opponenet n range to steal it. That's it, no other conditions. I have never played sylas, as I am an ADC/jg main but i feel there should be ateast one more condition to his ult steal. I've evaded it once or twice, but it's not uncommon for sylas to steal an ult and immediately pull it off.

You can't 'evade' him stealing your ult no? It's a point and click. The only thing I can think of is going untargetable.

I simply feel his steal mechanic should be closer to his stun and grab move, with the normal 'wasted' ult cooldown some champs get. (5-10 second cooldown) Buff the range to make up for it.

"buff the range", so its going to have the range of a tf ult now?

Yasuo windwall stops it (naturally e.e) I wonder how Braum Unbreakable interacts with it. Does it force sylas to take braums ult? And if he can't take braums ult it goes on cd, or can he use it again?

I mean the self cooldown on sylas r (not the per champ) is pretty negligible. It's like 8s. All of the CD in his ult is on the per champ portion of it

Yeah, but in the middle of a fight these days, that's devastating.

Yeah, but I personally would rather be devastated I have to wait 4-5 s because I whiffed my ult, rather than being devastated because it's not back up for 3 minutes

A flaw in that is that if you kill someone after stealing their ultimate and you still have their ultimate, they are technically going back to fountain. So if they aren’t there, you neutered the Sylas and he has to use the ult to kill instead.

I'm not sure, but I think GPs heals are quite weaker than Sylas, even if GP decided to bust the shop from all possible AP he can get his hands on.

Gangplank doesn't have to be in enemy range to heal.

AND GP heal removes all CC.

I think the fact that his e alone has a dash, shield, gap closer and knock up speaks for itself 😂

I remember when he was first announced, people moaned about his ult, how silly it was.

Now, now one cares because his heal and shield keep him so safe, many of us moaned about his before he launched and it got a slight nerf from his original PBE stats on launch. We are still moaning about it. I don't get the dash part of his E , why not make it so you dash with the chains and if it hits, get a shield. Heal should also have the below 40% removed, it's comparable to other self heals then.

The idea is you are meant to pick and choose your ult for the right situation, his ult is what makes him special but at the moment he can just build damage and be fine because he's rewarded for building damage by having sustain based on it. His ult choice doesn't matter as it's just backup to his kit instead of the table turner.

Make his W heal have more to do with building AP then the actual ability (ie only the AP ratio gets the +175% when below threshhold) Also make W an on-hit effect instead of this weird spell auto, so that it procs bramble/thornmail.

Make his ult a skillshot instead of a point and click. Adds the ability to outplay, or to body block for a champ with a good ultimate, or body block if your ult is on CD for sylas.

For a champ that is meant to be naturally high skill cap, he has too much guaranteed power

Frankly I think that if they remove something from his kit, whether for balance or because they’ve finally made AP bruiser items to help the class, it’ll be his shield.

I know everyone hates kingslayer, but that heal is pretty much half of the ability, you’d have to remake the ability entirely if you remove the heal (or replace it with DR, idk). The shield on his E feels tacked on imo.

i dont see sylas that often tho i would rather waste the braincells on nerfing riven or champs like her if I was a part of the balance team

I mean, the only thing I could find too strong about sylas is how he has the possibility to steal 5 ult late and use them (considering none of said ult are on CD for him) but it is actually quite rare, outside of that the guys didn't give me any issues.

His w is like his only good skill

I agree with you....I dont even know how Sylas made it to the live servers, just like Zoe...O_o its just mindblowing for me.

I don't know man I feel like Zoe is Sylas' little baby girl...practically harmless compared to him.
