Bloodthirster is shitting on assassins

I don't really have a problem with the lifesteal. I have a problem with the shield from it. An assassin will have to get through that shield, and by the time they have, the ADC has probably lifestealed to full HP again. I'm not saying that I want you guys to remove Bloodthirster or nerf it to the ground. I'm saying that the shield seriously needs a nerf or should just not be a part of the item. It already gives tons of AD and lifesteal, but seriously? A shield? It is making top tier ADC's like Caitlyn invincible against assassins because there's already items like Redemption and Locket, lifesteal, but also a free shield for the AD. Just please do something about the shield that you receive from Bloodthirster.

Its an extra 350 health at level 18. That's an amount of health that we in the business like to call "not a lot".

Blood thirster's shield is just pseudo hp at most gives 350 HP which most ADCs don't build resists with. It just helps a small bit similar to how death's dance converts 15% of all damage taken into Damage over time over the course of 3 seconds. Or mecurial's 35 MR it grants. They are small defensive bonuses due to the fact that they cost 3.5kgold+ and without them would essentially make an entire classes of champions useless.
