Removing 2 items would make the game more fun and enjoyable

item 3155 and item 3147. Nothing else really has to be removed but both of these items are out and out too powerful and give too much advantage to AD champions. Duskblade was just Deathfire Touch for AD and that was scrapped so why are AD champions allowed to have this?

Hexdrinker allows AD to negate almost ALL AP damage and not lose any damage themselves... this simply is not fair when you compare it to item 3191 which effectively does nothing at negative AD damage so harshly.

I'm coming around to the opinion that duskblade isn't super healthy. The other lethality items have good reasons to buy them and reasons not to buy them, but duskblade is just always good, with very little strategy about when to buy it and how to use it effectively.

Hexdrinker I think is fine, though. I know it gets a lot of hate, but I don't have a problem with it.

It just annoys me that AD champions are allowed to keep their massive damage while AP mages have to make a choice between that and survival. Its one of the reasons I hate item 3026 so much, it doesn't need AD on it, it was fine without that.

Again, have to disagree. Back when GA gave armor and MR, it was built on tanks. And that made tanks even more unkillable than they are already. It was awful.

Having AD on GA functionally restricts it to champs that can actually benefit from a revive without being awful. Imagine if this item gave resistances and was built on Mundo. You'd hate it more (or should).

It would be very boring for AP and AD to have exact copies of all each other's items. Your claims that hexdrinker doesn't cost assassins anything is simply not true. It's also not true that armguard does nothing. They are actually pretty good analogues of each other. When you exaggerate like that, you undermine your own credibility.

If anything, a fair complaint would be that armguard takes time to stack, and you may already be in a losing lane where it's difficult to farm. A change that fixed that would probably leave mages feeling much better against assassins.

I disagree, the only reason item 3026 had AD put on it was so that ADC's and Assassins could abuse it better and so that mages and AP tanks couldn't use it. When it was accessible to everyone, tanks hardly ever built it because there were simply better options.

Disagree all you want, but that's not true.

G/A was hit with two nerfs to restrict its access: The reduction to the revive (it used to be a % of total health) health benefits squishier champions, the ones who're more likely to die. However that in and of itself left the item super weak, because simply getting some flat resists and the ability to come back at one-shot-from-death is a pretty weak item slot for damage dealers, and turns it into a super late game item with a buy > use > sell pattern because there's no reason to hold it in your bags.

And so AD was added. This gives it long-term power and compensates its budget, making it niche mid-game defensive purchase on select champions (Rek'Sai loves GA as her third item), and an opportunistic catch-all defensive option on all for most AD damage dealers.

The initial nerf drives tanks off of it but makes the item useless on everyone. The introduction of AD elevates it into an area where it appeals to targeted champions, but further discourages tanks from picking it up.

Duskblade, I can understand, but why Hexdrinker? It feels more situational than most items.

Maybe not removing, just reworking then so it makes AD champions lose some damage if they build it, like item 3191's does.

I think the MOST they can do is reduce the AD by 5...

That doesn’t make it more enjoyable for those players. I could say remove exhaust and zhonyas to make things more enjoyable. Sure some players would be happy and it’s obvious where my bias is but it would actually do massive damage to balance. Also hexdrinker doesn’t negate all magic damage you literally have to have lost 70% of your hp already.
