Niyumi2 votesNo, they won't. Half the roster has to still aim their skillshots and whatnot, and doesn't literally one shot you. A fed Kat LITERALLY one shots you with her passive -- and she's 95% targeted.
And uh, Kat can 100-0 you in half a second the moment she hits 6. Who else can do that?

Second, most of Kat's damage isn't point and click these days. Mainly that is her Shunpo, the thing that got nerfed.
Third, the nerf was intended to reduce Kat's early damage potential so she has a ahrder time reaching that 20/2 stage, It did a pretty good job, as it substantially lowered her all-in power both by cutting her sdmage by ~.45 AD (multiple Shunpo casts is what is making her so strong early) and discouraging taking AD runes or building early AD.
Probably still not enough nerfs TBH, I'd like to see her not able to pick up a dagger while ulting, so that E>W>Ult wouldn't include grabbing the W dagger mid-ult anymore. And the range for which her E will apply damage to you when she Shunpo's onto a dagger is a little high.

Q, E, R -- all targeted. W doesn't do damage. Passive is the only thing that isn't targeted, but you also can't miss it if they're in range, so I'd call it half targeted.
Well, when she can instagib you at 3, instagib you easier at 6, and instagib you easier when she buys a Gunblade... a very slight AD reduction on her E isn't going to do a thing.

Niyumi1 votesOkay, well she started one shotting because she got a 2v4 quadra kill early on in the game, where everyone was over 3/4 health. Just runs in, Q>E>W>R and kills all of us instantly -- and then went on to instagib everyone repeatedly and carried the game for her team. Oh, and she was 0/0 at this point. So remind me why she instantly did 75% of four health bars even though her ult was cancelled half a second after it started.

JustMonika134 votesThe AD ratio change was targeted at her early game, particularly her level 2 and level 3 all-in kill potential. People were either starting Long Sword, or backing and getting double Long Sword and continued on that train of destruction. Auto attacks and auto attack canceling are an important part of her combos, especially in the laning phase.
Come mid game, she is supposed to be doing her best compared to her early game or (especially) her late game, especially if she's 20-2 types of fed.
She does need some more nerfs tbh tho -- The recently-turned Katarina fanatic.

I feel the same as you do. xD She's easily one of my favorite champs now, and she's actually really strong if you get good with her kit, even if people say she's weak or bad now.
I can also not freak out if I get killed by Kat anymore, since I know how much effort goes into her kit now. She actually takes quite a bit of skill.
Did you not say this back in my thread when Kat came out and I was defending her rework?

Now... a monkey can play Kat and win.

Niyumi1 votesShe needs to lose some of her mobility, or a lot of her damage. As it is, she's too safe with far too much damage.
And anything I write doesn't accomplish a fucking thing. Where I would change a champ to actually make it fair and balanced, Riot changes them to make it more lucrative. Clashing goals there.

Her E damage was nerfed because the damage from it is instant and when she got resets going she pretty much could just wipe out a team with it.
