Something's fishy with jungle exp.

TL, DR : SOME JUNGLE MONSTER GIVE LESS EXP CAUSE OF A BUG. EDIT : /!/!/!\ **After further testing, the reducing in exp from being too high level from the monster level is calculated from total exp earned throughout the game and not from flat level comparison ** /!/!/!\

Killing a gromp lv 2 without jungle item whilst being level : 1, gives : 100 exp 2, gives : 100 exp 3, gives : 100 exp 4, gives : 95 exp

Killing a gromp lv 2 with a Machete/Talisman whilst being level : 1, gives : 200 exp 2, gives : 150 exp 3, gives : 150 exp 4, gives : 145 exp

Killing Blue sentinel lv 2 without jungle item whilst being level : 1, gives : 180 exp 2, gives : 180 exp 3, gives : 180 exp 4, gives : 171 exp

Killing Blue sentinel lv 2 with a Machete/Talisman whilst being level : 1, gives : 280 exp 2, gives : 230 exp 3, gives : 227 exp 4, gives : 221 exp

Blue sentinel gives less exp (3) for some reason when you have 1 level ahead of him, but only with machete/talisman passive. /Edit : The reason is that 50 bonus exp make it closer to level 4, causing the reducing in exp to kick-in.

Now that's with cleaning only the specific camp.

If you clear red -> raptor -> wolfs -> Blue (gives 228, 2 less exp than supposed) -> Gromp (gives 146, 4 less than supposed)

So, what is this mess ?

Personal thought on the change to do : First, fix the bug that causes to lose 6 exp with the specific route mentioned. Second, make Big raptor give 25 base exp instead of 15, thus enabling the level 4 instead of 470/480 exp.

Theres also a new clear that gives you level 4 at roughly 3:10. You start by killing the big Wolf and one small one, then blue, then Gromp, then the last little wolf, then raptors, then red. Gives you level 4. Killing all 3 wolves at the beginning does not give you level 4 however. It's because riot messed with all the catchup XP values which is having some very unintended side effects

You can also start big raptor ->red -> small raptors -> wulfes -> blue -> gromp it gives you 4. But like the path you mentioned, only if you kill 2 big monsters before leveling up to profit from the +50 bonus exp from catch-up mechanic.

Does this relate to why I'm seeing junglers a level down on duo lanes not uncommon?
