He is an okay champion,nothing changed for him,he hasnt been touched for months (klepto too) so why should riot balance him now? literally NOTHING CHANGED. Q: What changed and people suddenly cry about him ? A: Popularity

But you can also play a counter to Viktor,how amazing right? Or even better,learn to play Klepto Viktor and abuse something thats in the game for almost a year but you needed a LC$ player to show it to you.

What im trying to say is that its just a stupid meta,it will probably pass...hell riot will probably reduce his Q ap damage by 20 level 5 and people will call him useless and stop playing simply because he received a nerf...

Rush tank items? Most I see rush hex core (3k gold), and only after that's completed they build sheen into iceborn. They really don't have their first tank item until 6k gold into the game.

Then they're not playing it right. They're just playing typical AP Viktor without fully abusing the Tank builds during the early laning phase.

I think most toplaners main think like this (unless these filthy Quinn, teemo, kennen, Victor top players). The only ones defending Viktop are viktor abusers & players playing on other lanes (they don't give a sh*t about top state).

Viktor kites EXTREMELY well with next to no downside or vulnerabilities that leave him open to melee opponents. He needs some kind of tap to move him back mid, because he really shouldn't have that kind of oppressive success against melee opponents when not actively building damage. Like, I'd be ok with him in top, but something has to give, be it his insane speed boost and shield with Q landing or his good base damage that lets him get away with not building AP for a bit.

I mean, not exactly:

Vayne top was always garbage despise the Gameplay Boards circlejerk.

Gnar was designed as a toplaner and needed toons of nerfs to dont dominate toplane, he's really hard to pull off right now as he should be.

Lucian top was a counterpick to GP and everything outside that case was low key trolling.

Jayce is...fine I guess, he is played on Worlds now only because he rolfstomps Aatrox who is op but he's not a overall problem.

Teemo is irrelevant.

And I forgot about Rumble existing to be fair.

Yeah, he is. Except that he does much better than those picks at toplane, and his trend just started.

If a champion jumps from nowhere to an unusual high winrate, it definitively means that something went wrong.

Play a counter into Viktor top that rushes a perma-slow and bonus movement speed. If you can find a counter to Viktor top, I applaud you because even the pros can't find the answer to that champion. Gets crazy AP from his hex core item and a fat shield do to mana builds that's on a 3 or 4 seconds cooldown. Explain to me who can even walk into lane with Viktor top.

Not to mention, several of those other ranged top laners are more troublesome than victor, purely from kits and masteries while he needs items to reach such annoyance.
