It's kinda hard for melee champs to proc Rageblade passive...

I was testing this item on Diana. I ran Lethal Tempo and went into team fights and paid carefall attention to how often I would actually proc the passive. The result were almost never.

So I thought, "hmm, maybe I'm too squishy", so I ran Unflinching runes. While I discovered, the rune was amazing on Diana, still kinda hard to proc Rageblade passive.

I know many ppl say you need to stack it on minions , but even that is finicky because it takes more than 5 seconds to get to the next minion wave so the passive most times expires from wave to wave.

The only champs who seem to have a decent time procing the passive are ranged champs with attack speed steroids such as KogMaw .

The funny thing is the original jg item devour was meant for melee champs, yet today, only ranged champs can really use it.

I'm not asking for the item to go back to being broken, I'm just pointing out melee champs almost never proc the passive in team fights.

It's doable with melees, however you need champions that can stick to targets either through slows or movement speed boosts. Diana's not exactly a fighter in my opinion, she's more focused on trying to burst people down and if you get your passive proc off, great.

Again, my opinion only. Probably not worth much merit.

That's why generally only ranged champions buy it. They have the benefit of being able to stack Guinsoo's from well away from any danger. If it was like old Guinsoo's (where melees got stacks twice as fast), a lot more melee champs would probably use it.

I think the stacks should last longer on melee. Like ranged users have about 6 seconds to keep it, melee should have like 10.
