Lo and behold, different designers will approach kit design differently and as such people will have preferences as to which style is better. This is not a new thing.

different approach, but one is definitly better than the other one, and it isn't certainlyt cause kalista is cancer to play against. I had no problem against his champions , people were saying that his champions were unfun to play against but i had no problem against yasuo/thresh/zed. Now, you need to have pointed cc and massive mobility to kill kalista.

No seriously, Riot's champion design team got their shit together with the past few releases. I hope they can keep going on this; you need around 4 or 5 meta-shattering champions like Kalista and Bard before the meta actually changes. Without a certain number of game changing champions, they just get banned out every game and nothing is accomplished.
