Tank items are the most useless they've ever been right now

True damage is running rampant and this lethality 'meta' means theres no point in even buying armor anymore.

Theres a little but of point to buying health, but you might as well just buy damage and try to one shot them before they one shot you.

The reason they are strong is nothing to do with the items.

Innate tankiness through shields/healing/damage reduction and lockdown cc.

He's right though. Unless the champion has some sort of tank steroids in their kit simply buying tank items isn't enough to make someone tanky any more.

Remember the tank meta with Sunfire IBG? That literally lasted for 4-5 patches before some nerfs finally came, lethality is good for one patch and it gets nerfed. The bias is strong with this one.
