If your mentality is 'i just can't win when my team feeds'

You will not climb. I've played a lot of games and what i have to say is that a lot are surprisingly winnable through sheer player skill. I just finished an 'unwinnable game'. My bot/mid had a combined score of 3/25 at 20 MINUTES. And we still won. Not because they just decided to ball up, no. I put on my bootstraps and said "this is not gonna be easy" and carried my team.

Get used to having to be 9/2/0 by 10 minutes. You want to be diamond/masters/challenger, you're gonna have to win those 'unwinnable' games.

Trying to carry a bad team is like trying to give a piggy-back-ride to a 600 pound man that's stabbing you in the back and loudly complains right in your ear when you aren't moving fast enough.

There's not a lot you can accomplish under the circumstances, so I don't know why you're expected to.

Okay, let's be clear here: you won because the enemy team played like shit despite having a huge lead.

If the enemy team doesn't play like shit after getting a lead like that it is virtually impossible to win.

Now sure, waiting for the enemy to throw in their own stupidity is a viable strategy, but it doesn't completely rely on you playing super well, does it?

I know in Plat+ people throw perfectly winnable games 24/7.

I can't tell you how many games I've won while be down significantly just because a team gets caught out one time. It blows my mind. Thank you death timers. Kappa

You gave us one specific example, lets see you do that every game.

Shit players come by on a daily basis. Fed enemy teammates come by on a daily basis. It depends on how you handle those things. Sometimes, they are carry-able, and sometimes the enemy just knows how to not fuck up.

I would understand that in lower divisions, forcing a hard carry/snowballing is pretty much the most effective way to climb, because almost every player there... are not the smartest people.

So, you're not wrong. But it's just something your average player can't necessarily accomplish.

Kind of hard to keep a positive mentality when the lee sin "smurf" pretty much admits they'll be trolling in champ select chat.

It's also pretty impossible to when a game when you're up against a booster with a premade while your premade decided to afk farm the jungle because the jungler wasn't camping both their lanes at once.

that "keep your head up" bullshit doesn't work when you're queued up with subhuman trash
