Can someone explain to me how Fizz does so much damage

when the only damage item he has is ? All his skills have AP ratios. Triforce has no AP. Where is the damage coming from?? Someone please enlighten me on this

It's due to bases and the fact that he isnt exploding instantly so he can actually sit there and keep hitting you.

His mark, at max grade, his W will use 120% of his AP + it's default 100 magic damage and applies an AP crit.

Because someone thought buffing him, and giving an assassin (one with the least counterplay) high base damages was a good idea. Honestly, fizz is just such a bad design - always is, always was, always will be

Any caster+autoattacker champion can do the same. Triforce proc CD is low and hurts like hell.

Its his W. PASSIVE: Fizz rends enemies on-hit, and those affected by Chum the Water's lure or shark, dealing them magic damage over 3 seconds, and marking them for 6 seconds. ACTIVE: Fizz's next basic attack deals bonus magic damage. If the target has been marked for at least 2 seconds, the damage dealt is_** tripled**_. Plus If Seastone Trident kills its target, its cooldown is reduced to 1 second and refunds mana. Allowing him to get double trinity procs very fast

They actually changed that recently and took that damage boost when pple were marked by ctw out now his w is this :

Passive: Fizz's basic attacks bleed his enemies, dealing 25/40/55/70/85 (+33% Ability Power) magic damage over 4 seconds.

Active: Fizz's next basic attack deals 75/120/165/210/255 (+33% Ability Power) bonus magic damage. If the target has been bleeding for at least @Effect4Amount*.5@ seconds, this bonus increases to 75/120/165/210/255 (+100% Ability Power). If the Active kills a target it refunds 20/28/36/42/50 mana and resets its cooldown to 1 second.

mainly the damage comes from the lich bane when he gets it because lich bane procs with w and q

i know he was saying tri force was only item I'm just saying in general lich bane contributes a lot of damage because fizz will usually build that item

i just realized that trinity force is a spell blade which means that it procs with fizz w and his q that is where the damage was coming from
