@Meddler What are your thoughts on allowing Garen and Renekton the ability to jungle?

Currently Garen's Passive is interrupted by Monsters until level 11 which severely limits his ability to jungle. I think he could be relatively decent, akin to a Volibear in a lot of ways, but he can't really do it because of the lack of sustain early on.

Renekton's entire kit limits his fury generation and healing against Minions and Monsters. What would be so bad about letting Renekton gain the VS Champion benefits on his abilities against Monsters? I think he could be a pretty good Jungler without being broken or overwhelming.

I also think this would be a great opportunity for Riot to expand diversity and promote different picks like with Hecarim Top.

If you think about it: Garens ganking wouldn't be that strong. All because he lacks CC other than silence. Now when almost everyone can dash away Garen would have to chase his prey almost to fountain before hitting them.

So maybe 'lil update on Garens passive "jungle monsters reduce Garens pasive heal by x%" so he won't have super sustain, but decent enough to be viable.

Thats not even remotely needed. If his ganking wouldn't be great he wouldn't need some nerf to his regen. Its similar to Shen. Godlike sustain and nothing really else. Right now Garen has nothing good about his jungle.

Shen brings fairly good ganks (his CC duration is good) and incredible map pressure post 6.

You might have misunderstood me. Imo his ganks from jungle will be weak. He lacks CC to stop enemies from running away + his damage is rather low.

Thats why i think it wouldn't be bad if Riot tried to let him jungle with "new" passive i mentioned. That way he won't be too oppresive.

I've played Renekton jungle before. It wasn't the clears or anything that was bad, it was ganking. It was extremely inconsistent, because coming into lane with enough fury to properly stun someone was extremely difficult.
