I would have personally preferred to spent 7800 IP and 950 RP to buy the reworked Talon/skin

Than have permanently lost the old Talon I used to play all the time, after he became boring and gimmicky. I miss the old Empowered-Auto Q guy, who relied on his auto attacks to assassinate one, instead of rely on his W and R to do all the work for him.

Riot said they wanted to change Talon so that he would rely MORE on his auto attacks to assassinate targets, before the rework, and now Talon doesn't have to use his auto attacks at all. It stopped being fun. I miss the old guy.

What? New Talon has more reason to autoattack due to having a strong passive linked to it. The only reason the old Talon used autoattacks was because of his Q. New Talon usually needs at least 2 autoattacks to kill people, old Talon did 70% of his upfront damage through his W and R (which was problematic on an assassin since it's all AoE).

Personally I think they gave him a better reason to autoattack than the generic empowered autoattack he had before. I love Talon before his rework but I'll gladly defend his changes anyday, I think they were for the better for sure.

Every single time I die by a talon, all I see is "Rake, 40% physical damage; Shadow Assault, 40% physical damage." I get how his passive works. I've played as him before, and he's boring. He just shits out his W and R and occasionally autos ONE time just to apply a DOT debuff before running away. He's basically the Braum of dealing damage. Shit out some abilities and then walk up and auto everyone you want suffering some damage one single time.

The old Talon had a true assassin's play-style. Like Master Yi, he could easily get focused down, but if he was patient enough, he could pop in, cause a lot of harm, and pop out. Back then, talon didn't need his ult to do damage. He could E in, auto someone down for a couple seconds and use his Ult to get away.

Now he runs into you like a damn tank until he's close enough, initiates with his ult to do a shit ton of damage, do some more damage with his W, kill you with maybe a Q, and then just hop over 20 walls. It's obnoxious and boring, and brings no joy compared to the old Talon.

I don't care if they release a new champion based off of him. Name him Tolon for all I care. I just want him back more than anything in League that Riot has taken away from us.

New Talon has one of the most unique hit and run playstyles in the game. If you don't like him that's very unfortunate, however saying that he doesn't have an assassin's playstyle right now is simply silly. He surprises enemies and catches them out, killing them quickly. How exactly is that not an assassin's playstyle?

Also, I don't know whether you realize or not but old Talon had more raw damage on both his Rake and Shadow Assault. Sorry, but that's a fact. The old Rake did 260 +120% of his bonus AD as damage, the new one does 270 + 100% of his bonus AD. Lategame, with around 300 bonus AD, that means the old rake would have done 260 + 360 = 620 damage, while the new one does 270 + 300 = 570.

For Shadow Assault pretty much the same thing goes, especially earlygame since the base damage was nerfed at lvl 6 by 60. So yeah, the new Talon is no longer about just using WR, all numbers show that.

Again if you don't like him I guess that's fair, but your argument about his W and R dealing more damage than before is simply false.
