Like you cant even defend against that. now with the limited vision, its pretty hard to keep track on baron. just saw enemy team out push our super minions get 4 towers and inhib and won the game only with baron buff. i know you guys will downvote, but its true. its not the 1st time baron buff does that.

It is meant to help end games. That is why it isn't even available for the first 20 mins. Otherwise people could pick a team with good wave clear and delay a game forever, even if they got crushed in lane.

High risk/High reward.

That's why it's tough to get. You need to make sure the enemy team can't take it while you're doing it, and there's usually a decent chance of death if you do it without full health. I don't even find it that strong though, I mean, obviously it's good to have, but it definitely doesn't determine the winner on it's own.

Then don't let the other team get Baron. Like MrPharmD above me said, high risk and high reward.

Keep vision on it, if you cant see the enemy team check Baron, and the first chance you get if you think they might take Baron later go and take it yourselves.

Depending on what dragon buffs you've collected and how many you have, the Elder dragon buff may be stronger/better later than Baron although I'm not familiar enough with the dragon buff collection/stacking yet to tell

it's a powerful buff, but also hard to get.

and it's not impossible to defend against it, just hard.

usually imo when someone has baron they are over confident with themselves and I usually am able to pick people off cause they suddenly think they can 1v5 or something

For every game that's won by grabbing Baron, three games are thrown trying to go for it. (Made up statistics FTW)

Baron buff is supposed to be a power spike, but at the same time it implies a significant amount of risk, not only from the Baron itself but because unless the enemy team was obliterated, chances are they're going to retaliate.

The question is, how did they manage to get baron if you already had their inhib down... If you play poorly, sure, Baron buff will wreck you, but they would win another way even without the buff if you throw.

baron isn't hard to counter, always ward it, easy waveclear teams destroy baron buffs as they have no minions
