Why is malphite full tank allowed to do so much dmg?

ViciousSummoner1 votesHe has base damage. Tanks have high base damage to offset their intended itemization and play style. Imagine if Malphite's abilities all had only 50 base damage. You'd never contribute to anything outside of a few slows and one knock-up.
