I honestly don't think any champ should go 0/4 with 20 cs and still be relevant

Like Tryndamere currently can be. Happened last game pretty dumb.

If you got killed by a Trnyd with no kills and 20 cs he must have been at least 3 levels above you and you much ahve the mechanics of a jiffy lube that's been shut down for a year

OyddAWqJ5r3 votes

Never said he killed anyone, though he did but that's cuz some people are sad wood division residents. The problem was the endless reliable split.

Automated Riven1 votes

He doesn't have a reliable splitpush unless he is ahead. Hell at 0-4 and 20 cs the support can sit in lane with kill pressure on him. You just run into lane and he has to GTFO. Name one toplaner who can't dive him and blow his ult with a 2 level and 3k gold advantage?

OyddAWqJ5r1 votes

Name one Tryndamere that'll let that happen.

Now take this into account: Your top laner "dives" into the lane to kill him but he either escapes or starts going back towards the base proxying waves. Well now it's 4v4 and your top laner has to deal with that shenanigans, push out the wave etc.

So your top laner did just that, dealt with the problem. 30 seconds later guess who's back on your top turret?

See the problem?

MrHaZeYo1 votes

Lol how.

OyddAWqJ5r4 votes

Objective pressure. Nonstop push.

MrHaZeYo1 votes

If he is 0/4 with 20 CS split pushing he clearly has more then 20 CS. If you allow him to nonstop push while being that far behind then of course he is going to catch back up.

Secondly, while he is massively behind and spliting you are on the map as a 5v4, make something happen, him getting back into the game is a byproduct of your team not doing anything.

OyddAWqJ5r1 votes

Everything you just said is literally what Tryndamere's existence is.

Can you stop a 0/4 Nasus from farming the wave at his 2nd top turret? No? Then why do you think that's possible vs Tryn?

Ofcourse he's gonna get more than 20 past that point cuz we have no say in it.

Also have you ever tried to 5v4 turrets before? It's not THAT easy especially early game. Hell it's not easy at all. Meanwhile Tryn is mindlessly pushing like the degenerate he is and he will never stop no matter how much you kill him. And later on he can escape because you don't need an item advantage to press R, walk away and E over walls.

So yeah please tell me more fantastical strategies for invalidating a Tryndamere.

MrHaZeYo1 votes

Yes, yes you can stop a 0/4 Nasus. Specially if your jungler and mid also help, with things such as warding and just straight diving him and then taking that 2nd turret.

Why do you need to 5v4 early game? Are you making him go 0/4 in the 1st 10-12 minutes? in which case he prolly isn't going to do much anyway cause he is just straight terrible. You play at a plat level, Tryn shouldn't be 0/4 with TWENTY CS early game, no matter what. You as Golds-Diamonds should also know what to do around the map and what to continue to do to stop Tryn, or what to do as he Splits. Also, if you're leaving Tryn top, go with your jungler and dive mid then take that turret, plenty of things to do (early game).

If me a lowly gold knows what to do against a Tryn then 5 players of you're skill level should too.

Sadly your theories don't translate into actual viable in game strategies. We can't just "dive mid and take that", we can't just "win the game 5v4" cuz it just doesn't work that way. Sounds good on paper but when faced with 4 competent opponents it's far from practical.

There's a reason splits work in the LCS.

Hell do you know what proxy Singed is? There's a reason that strat worked too.

And yes, I literally did make him go 0/4 with 20 cs. Cuz I can do that. Hell anyone can. Trynd is ass in lane but he can split nonstop.

Edit: Why the hell are you suggesting we waste the junglers/mids time to thoroughly camp the living hell out of a Nasus at his tier 2 turret the entire game? Do you honestly think that's making good use of 2/3 of your players?

Really gonna bring up LCS when trynd hasnt seen real pro play in years?

OyddAWqJ5r1 votes

Never said Tryn in LCS now did I?

But I totally agree with you. If a lowly gold knows how to stop a split then everyone in LCS that loses to splits must completely suck.

Dude join the LCS, go big.

Can you stop a 0/4 Nasus from farming the wave at his 2nd top turret? No? Then why do you think that's possible vs Tryn?

Nasus' pushing speed is capped by his Q's CD and other things (like waiting for minions to be low enough for Q) if he actually wants to get stacks out of it, and his ulti does not make him immortal, he has no gapcloser and mobility without using summoner's, also his CC will only affects 1 person. This makes him far more able to be shut down if he just holed himself somewhere and farm and push. This is different to Trynd.

OyddAWqJ5r1 votes

Didn't answer the question.

Wasn't meant to. Just saying Nasus is not directly comparable with Trynd.

OyddAWqJ5r1 votes

...okay. Dunno why you went and did that.

Vallalan1 votes

if someone is that far behind you kill them over and over and force their team to address you. why you just left him in lane is beyond me.

a tryndamere who can't fight is fucking useless. just kill him and apply pressure. dont leave him and let him get back in the game. any champ who is behind can farm back in if you dont know what to do with your lead. its not just trynda.

you just don't know how to push your lead.

OyddAWqJ5r1 votes

You can't harass someone under 2nd turret. That's suicidal.

He shouldn't have as massive an impact on the game regardless of lane performance.

He shouldn't have as massive an impact on the game regardless of lane performance.

Why not? If your team plays so poorly to allow him so much time to farm to relevance, why shouldn't your team be punished for that? Why should the early game be the only thing that matters?

OyddAWqJ5r1 votes

Once again not understanding. He isn't farming to relevance--he is relevant at 0/4 20 cs.

OK

If your team plays so poorly to allow him to be relevant at 0/4 K/D and 20 CS, why shouldn't your team be punished for that? Why should early score be the only thing that matters instead of early score and subsequent quality of play?

OyddAWqJ5r1 votes

Besides the point once again. Tyndamere is always relevant regardless of how anyone else plays.

StealWolverine1 votes

Not even close to true. if he is 0/4 with 20cs at 20 minutes into the game he is irrelevant. you could leave him alone for ten minutes and he wouldnt touch your inhibitor.

OyddAWqJ5r1 votes

Go into a practice game and just buy a dagger and push the bot lane towers. You'd be surprised how fast they fall.

Automated Riven1 votes

You literally buy a dagger on anyone and splitpush for 10 minutes your gonna get somewhere. Assuming that trynd manages to rack up 1.0 attack speed and 100 damage to towers. He still takes 35 seconds of auto attacking a tower for it to die. If your team can't react to that then you deserve to lose.

OyddAWqJ5r1 votes

How many seconds does it take to travel to bot lane from base/mid turret? Minimum 10 I'd say.

Now also take this into consideration. One of your players just went to stop him. It's effectively a 4v4 now. Tryndamere simply walks away and joins your team, it's a 5v4 now.

Scenario 2: Tryndamere sees the person incoming and due to his current 0/4 score just starts proxying the wave until the laner comes to kill him in which he either jukes an escape, gets executed by turret or in the best case scenario dies to the laner.

Let's assume the best case scenario. So now you killed Tryn and have to shove the stacked up minions off your turret, lots of free gold you just got. So now you go to help your team or back with all that gold advantage and by the time you're halfway down river or done recalling guess who's back on your turret?

But hey, if you can't react to that then you deserve to lose.

Automated Riven1 votes

you can literally replace this senario with any other champion in the game. Fuck I can do this with riven if people refuse to punnish me for sitting toplane all game.

Yasuo

Yasuo atleast has to farm up and become a damage threat, Tryn just mindlessly pushes turrets efficiently regardless of xp/gold.
