Couple reasons:
Contrary to what the boards think, the role does take a crap ton of skill. Kiting effectively, maintaining a safe distance while still outputting the DPS required from them, and keeping an eye for any enemies getting too close, because the second they do, you're dead.
Secondly, because the boards mistakenly calls the role "the easiest in the game", you have all the FoTM slaves that don't really know much taking that as fact, and then going to try it out, thinking this will be the new thing to finally get them out of bronze, and then inevitably failing when they don't have the right skills for it.
Lastly, it's people that are actually new to the role and are actively trying to learn how to play it.
i dont remotely think adc is the easiest class.. adc is the ONLY calss i cant play... because i cant orb walk, and i have bad click accuracy...
what i CAN do is predict the enemy watch the map and land skilshots.. i dont need "mechanic" to land skillshots i only need to be able to accurastly predict the enemy and outplay their movements.
if you dont have mechanics then adc is by hard the hardest role.
if you have mechanics but no game knowledge then adc is the easiest
