Seriously no pleasing you people. (Kass and Veigar thread)

Countless threads about how unviable Kassadin and Veigar are. You guys act like you didn't want this to happen to Kass lol. Like seriously, he's been complained about since late season 2. And it's not the first time he's been made "null and void" by nerfs. Remember when they reworked him? Took away the silence and every person with half an opinion said he was dead, despite most likely never playing him pre-rework and most definitely were the ones complaining about him in the first place.

Long story short, don't pretend you care what happens to Kassadin.

On to Veigar. Y'all realize he can now potentially double the amount of AP he gains from Q right? That alone is a nice compensation. Oh boo hoo, it's not point and click anymore, and your 2.5 second aoe stun isn't instant anymore. If you are a Veigar player you should learn to adapt and realize that your champion has been made harder, but better in damn near every way. In case you haven't noticed, he now has two massive damage aoe spells now. That's two people you can blow up at once now instead of just one! Why are you complaining?? You don't see the Zilean players complaining that his point and click turned into a skillshot.

Long story short, learn to adapt, realize that Veigar is stronger than ever at the cost of being a bit harder to play.

Read whichever applies to you and stop complaining.

I was debating whether or not to get into a full argument here but rather I think it would be much more easier if I was to point out a flaw with the double stacking.

As you stated, he can double up on his AP. Which on paper sounds great but in reality is very harmful to Veigar. No one, as for as I have seen, complained about the double stacking directly that is. As well do you understand the problem behind the Q now being a skill shot that pierces it first target? Allow me to point out the biggest flaw with the Q if it wasn't apparent.

Allowing the Q to pierce the first target will push the wave.

Now that doesn't seem as big as a deal, just buy wards and you'll be fine right? No, sadly wards will alert you were the jungler is but with the current meta favoring mobility the junglers can come from almost any angle unnoticed. Veigar isn't someone who wants to push the wave, he wants the wave push to him. Now then you can also argue then that don't push the wave by using the double stacking feature. Do that and the Q is a nerf, why add something that allows you to get double stacks and then not to use it?

In summary here are the Q problems,

  1. It pushes the wave and with Veigar's lack of mobility he is an easy gankable target.
  2. Because you pushed up you run the risk of either farming near the enemy's tower or the enemy freezing at their tower.
  3. If you don't plan on using the double stacking feature you cripple your self even more.

Literally nobody has complained about Kassadin recently. He has been pretty balanced for the past months, there was no reason to butcher him so much. He's now sitting on a 39% winrate.

Pretty sure thats because all the guys used to being unkillable and ungankable midlane are dying in lane now. So now they getting wrecked instead of just holding out till 6, and being basically unkillable after that point.

Sorry if I dont cry a tear for that stupid champ.

I think basically unkillable is a bit strong. His damage is pretty minimal, and anyone competent could shut him down Pre 6. He's got something like 4 seconds on his Ult CD, and he can only cast it roughly 3-4 times before he's out of mana.

Once he gets 6, you couldn't gank him. Thats the point of my post. I imagine after the change, a lot of these guys arent escaping like they used to. He was pretty unkillable after 6 pre-nerf. And 3-4 times is if he spams it, which he shouldnt be doing in lane anyways.

And, honestly, after his rework, his laning phase wasn't/isn't bad pre-6, just he could be ganked. I'm sure now that his ult isnt a completely free flash after 6, hes dying far more often to ganks and in lane, and all these "mains" are getting wrecked before they even get going, which is good.

As bad, annoying. or how much you hate a champion, THERE IS ZERO REASON why they should not be viable in any point of the game, period.

They gave counterplay to kassadin with the increase of 20 sec to his stacks and then i had no problems against kassadin, but balance team are full of bronze
