If riot wants supports to have such broken items, then they need to cost more gold.

Around every support item in the game atm is pretty much close to being 1k gold undercosted.

They can have the late game, but it should atleast cost them something, ardent shouldnt cost less than 3k gold, neither should locket or knights vow or redemption, THEY SHOULD ACTUALLY PAY for the BROKEN passives/actives, not get them for free, you know just like you have to spend almost 3k gold on the shit stats for the zonhya active.

1: riot doesn't want supports to have broken items 2: your idea is shit af because they will just build full AP/AD/tank if support items cost as much as normal items

Oh they dont want to?

So thats why they have massively overpowered every single support item in the game (and they plan on more buffs, buffing the spellthief line instead of nerfing coin lmao) isnt them wanting a support/adc/tank dominated meta?

By your name i can already tell youre another one of those low elo support mains who think their role should be the strongest in the game and that assassins are "anti fun", thanks for runining the game as riot catered to all of those whiny support players wanting broken items.

because they were garbage? knight's vow was so fcking bad i never saw an item so useless af at the begining of the season, it got buffed like 5 times by a cost/hp buff and was still bad, AND DO NOT TELL ME THAT GLORY WAS EVEN GOOD this item was on ohmwrecker level redemption overshadowed everything and forced supports to buy redemption ardent was broken the entire time but due to redemption being broken no one noticed it because an item was even more broken

they gutted redemption, didn't touch ardent because no one knew it was broken, and buffed vow glory and zeke (wasn't even good) because they were bad

coin on the other hand, i told meddler that the quest was garbage, and what did he do? first he buffed the gold generation then buffed the quest to break the item

not my fault if this dude has an IQ lower than my brother

so how can your logic be applied when ardent is losing its attack speed buff?

stopped reading at "gutted redemption".

EL OH EL

true, gutted isn't a good word but they nerfed the item enough for it to no longer be 100% requiered on every supports previously if you didn't have it as a 1st item you lost

It's not bad, but it's gutted in comparison to how broken it was.

You know, so broken Braum was building it?

The second supports have visible impact like people want, the community wants to put them back into obscurity /shrug

or yet other laners abuse it (looking at you item 3069/item 3401 Shaco top after lvl6 (unless they did a fix to his clone procc'ing it))

not getting your statement

1: Support role had impact since the game exists 2: not every supports are equality impactful atm, ardent users hands down are overshadowing everything else that trundle support has it as a core build with stoneborn 3: knight's vow and ardent are BORING, no other words to describe the playstyle of a stat stick item that has most of its power in a passive with no skill involved that brings such a thing that is damage reduction and ardent buff

Deep Terror Nami2 votes

I'm not saying they didn't have impact, it's that the majority of players are unable to recognize it until times like these.

and then they'll immediately complain support is not fun enough or aren't as impactful as they are now

no supports need it to make the role feel good 4head

They do cost a lot of gold. Supports have a lower income than the other roles. The prices need to be proportionate to the income of the buyer.

item 3107 is mainly good if paired with other shield powering items item 3109 is only as good as the person you're linking to dps and item 3190 yes it does have a good amount of burst shield but it decays in a 2.5 second duration so if you disengage when it pops like Taric ult it becomes pretty useless

I actually agree that taller slot usage (at a cost) is one way to move forward on the support satisfaction/balance issue.

But yeah tuning will have to happen to make sure supports (and not so much other roles) can reasonably get that gold but without making them just going for other items (or other classes abusing taller support items too much). I think it'd be great if a enchanter could sometimes get a Deathcap or sumthign

But easier said than done..?
