TBH i think it's best that Shaco is weak right now

For no reason beyond the instant level 3 clear being insane right now A level 3 redbuffed shaco appearing bot lane at 2:30 is not fun.

I have been repeatedly told that he is incredibly weak. Maybe im wrong? I've only played with one shaco and he was like "holy fuck what happened to this champion"

No, before he was release from the pbe people thought he was weak (I also heard people say the same about lb and say Talon and kat were strong) but, ap Shaco is strong with a nice win rate. Ad has been hurt because the crit usually put on is glitched. Besides this the ratio on Shaco's e was hurt with little compensation for ad shaco. Shaco received these nerfs: less damage on e and I believe less flat damage on q. Also backstab doesn't proc thunderlords or give you full crit damage if you build crit. Shaco's boxes don't stack anymore . Finally shaco's ultimate has (in my opinion) worse ai but, also takes more damage from towers. Buffs include a ap ratio on q, an ap ratio to the duration of boxes, %missing enemy health on e, ultimate shooting out miniboxes that scale with ap. So most of the buffs helped ap Shaco, while most of the nerfs affected ad Shaco.

Also his q I find more of a buff as no pinks and when you get to 4.5 seconds it feels great. People have been maxing it first and I do. The 1.5 s is a nerf though.

Rioter2: What if we played up his unique puff of smoke and evil laugh, making the one larger and brighter, and the other louder and audible in a huge range?

Rioter1: What? Don't be stupid. That might give his opponents some kinda counterplay. If we nerf Decieve's duration until rank 4 he'd just be a lot weaker and not a problem.

Rioter2: You're right. That's prob the safe option. Good idea.

I didn't even mean it that riot planned it this way. Why are people getting so triggered? Since when was shaco a fun champion to play against?

I know you didn't mean Riot planned it. I'm not the one who downvoted you, even though I disagree.

I'm triggered because rather than playing up what makes Shaco's invisibility unique to him, they decided to nerf his invis duration.

So now, not only does his invis still lack real counterplay, it's just a weaker ability overall.

It's such lazy design.

Shaco
