@Riot what is the purpose/role of Hextech GLP-800, possible future plans

right now i feel is in a good spot it has a very discernible purpose and is quite handy on certain champs isn't used by many champs becuase of half ap half AD but it still is the only real AP life leech item so it has its place especially on champs like

is an AWESOME item that gives great hp and good AP and has a great slow that is AMAZING with or
is cheaper and gives more health and a LOT of mana and the same AP as lategame, but it requires time to scale it also have the new Eternity passive

and now we have it has the same starting AP as , slightly more starting mana but it dones't scale it also has the eternity passive like and it costs MORE. but it also have an activatable slow which kinda make it fit the spot as well.

so its kinda the cross between and but without the best part of either one. i really don't feel like has anything going for it even if i wanted a third AP HP item AFTER and { i would probably pick strictly for the 40 second high damage dash. and because and share a cooldown there wouldn't really be any point in getting both.

So i ask you riot, what are your current opinions on ? Is it being looked at, are there any champs that frequently use it? Is it filling the role you wanted it to? if you do have any plans for it could you share them? who the hecked named this item?
