Best (only?) example of Sion in challenger

I mean he's rarely picked in korean challenger and this is the first time I've seen him in a game (granted I have not seen all korean challenger games) but the game and sion played out the same was I had feared he would in high elo.

Sion is supposed to be this ultimate late game tank and yet he's proven to me to be more useful early on. Late game, other peoples cc cancels his own and his tankiness is not that great for an infinite scaling passive. So, this just kinda worries me about sticking with sion if I by some miracle got out of silver lol.

BTW: This is a really cool channel if you don't mind the same theme music over and over XD.

it makes me really sad how noobs decide on their champions by how many pros play them or something.

just play the champions you like and work out their strengths so much that they become better than any other champion in the game in your eyes. thats what makes the game fun and thats what makes champion mains.

What makes the game fun is when people aren't calling other players "noobs".

I main sion. I never said I only play sion because pro's play him... because they don't. I have over 200 games with sion and a 3.6 kda. Not trying to boast but I still play sion and will still play sion.

The point im trying to make isn't even so much about the damn challenger players playing (or not playing actually) sion. It's about his kit and his balance. My point is that he's a tank whos not really that tanky compared to other tanks. My point is that his late game is lacking for a late game-based kit. My point, SIR, is that sion could use some tweaks to make him a tad more viable in competetive play, not just rainbows and muffins we're all happy playing who we want and we hug eachother for being happy with our champions kindof play.

You know.. its possible to play a champion you like and adore whose also a competitive pick. It is possible.

in my opinion, the best junglers in the game right now are shyvana and volibear. are they picked by pros? no. are they popular? no. do they see alot of play in challenger? no.

i still believe they are the strongest and best champions and thats why im playing them and making them work. maybe sion is the best toplaner and ridiculously overpowered. who knows? you certainly dont until you play 500-1000 games with him. man it took me almost 1000 pantheon games to realize that hes fucking unplayable and useless. it took me 300 volibear games to understand his true powers and how to really use him. it took me only 3 shyvana games to fall in love with her.

if you think sion can work against every champion at every skill level and really support usefull strategies in competitive play then make him work and show the world that he is the fucking best. if you believe there are better champions then simply dont play sion anymore because playing a sub-optimal champion is frustrating and no fun if you know you gonna reach a limit sooner or later anyways.

reason why people dont pick him is because of his bugs, i played Sion and every game as im fighting he becomes unresponsive after casting a spell, it's mostly E, u think high tier's are gona waste their team dealing with a bugged champ? nah

I honestly do not get the same bugs you are complaining about.

Sion's shield may need some tweaks so it's not awkward to use, but I don't think it would take much at all for Sion to be strong again.

If you like Sion, just keep playing him. You can get to Diamond playing any champion. The important thing is to learn from your mistakes and to try and not make them anymore.

The way I see it is the only real reason you don't see Sion much in challenger or pro games is because he is way too healthy of a champ. His kit bring immense power when used correctly but there is always good and healthy counterplay to everything he does. He is a strong champion and he's in a good spot and I know that I will definitely keep playing him as I go up even if that means I need to constantly adjust how I play to how well my opponents know how to play against me. I think he's hella fun and good enough to carry this noob (me) to plat... and hopefully to diamond next year! XD So good luck to ya and have fun. ;)
