Maybe have the item be like zekes herald in where you choose a champ to link to. While linked to that champ, 20% damage they would take is instead inflicted on to you.
Like zekes herald, it will have a stack up to 100 for a special effect. Perhaps the effect would be that for 5 seconds the owner of the item applies a shield worth 15% of his/her max health to the person he bonded to.

adc are supposed to be squishy and susceptible to burst. giving them essetially 15% damage reduction would never be a good idea. plus, there are too many possible abuse cases. for example what if you ran 3 tanks and would stack this passive on a mundo?
PalPlays1 votesNever list hard numbers when suggesting an item. People get caught up on the numbers instead of the concept of the item itself.
I for one like the idea, but feel like it WOULD have to be extremely temporary to be balanced.
