I just realised there's still a part of the community that hates nidalee

Its strange how small buffs that riot makes can make the community go like fucking monkey's after eating 500 kg of trail mix then drinking it away with 10 bottles of alcohol(double that amount for preseason)

Ive seen a person go as far as to say that nidalee has TOXIC MECHANICS THAT ARE UNHEALTHY FOR THE GAME and also saying that SHE DOESNT TAKE SKILL

she is a poke-assassin that requires dedication to play to her fullest,and quite skillshot reliant at that

Lol nidalee doesn't take skill. But people hate her because when she hit you with Q,she got long range targeted dash and aa as an execute,which basicly has no counterplay

Honestly Lee sin takes as much as Warwick , but his winrate is below 50% because he's one of the most popular champs in the game,and Lee sin players always get the kills that their team don't get,and of Lee can't carry 1v5 it's lost

Regardless the downvotes, I agree with this post. To anyone saying nidalee doesn't take skill, thats because most likely your in an ELO that doesn't know how to dodge. Almost every high ELO jungle stream would tell you that nidalee is a high skillcap champion.

Having to land a skill shot so that the rest of your kit becomes a single target nuke does not make your champion require skill.

managing your mana? i wonder if you forgot playing nidalee requires you to constantly juggle forms and cooldowns between both spamming a 90 mana cost spear and a higher mana cost doesn't help her either she is mana gated without blue or item 3027 jumping at the right time?

yes,but what if the enemy takes it?what if your mid takes it?what if your adc has it?what if your top has it?what if both blues are taken and none are on you?

Her cougar abilities cost literally nothing, which means the actual cost of your burst pattern is one spear.

if the enemy has some hp/tanky stats that is far harder then usual say about 2 spears 3 possible heals constantly kiting now do that to all 5 enemies your going to run out fast

Nah man, whenever Nidalee is strong she is picked a ton in competitive play. Dodging 10 spears in a row doesn't help you when the 11th randomly flung invisible spear forces you to back and give up your tower.

Nidalee is one of the biggest extremes of cancerous design. She has ridiculous mobility that costs nothing, she gets to have long range poke AND sustain at the same time, she even gets a long range engage just in case her already obscene mobility wasn't enough.

There's a reason nobody with a brain wants to see her be a popular pick.

I hate Nidalee because I remember the spear nukes for 9/10 of your life.

I hate Nidalee because I remember Triforce top lane Nidalee.

I hate Nidalee because I remember jungle Nidalee every game.

In short, whenever Nidalee is even remotely strong she infests the Rift because being a super safe champion with a high power level attracts all the tryhards for miles. Same reason that people hate when Zed, Leblanc, and Ahri are strong.

I like Nidalee but I don't like losing 70% of my games. The assassin play-style doesn't agree with me and I can't seem to turn Nidalee into an effective Bruiser/Tank the way I managed with Evelynn. I may just throw her back in the mid lane, build tear and toss hail mary shots all game.

As it stands right now, if counter-jungling was more popular, the win rate of Nidalee would be more like 20%. She is so weak early game in her jungle, hence the buffs and maybe even why Runic Echoes is being put out.

Nidalee is the easiest champion to deal with ever. Her spears are so incredibly easy to dodge. It takes a truly coordinated team to make proper use of her through crowd control.
