I kind of wish they'd buff Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Boots of Swiftness

Maybe make it so Ionian Boots of Lucidity also grants 10% item cooldown reduction on top of its 10% summoner's cooldown reduction and 10% cooldown reduction in general.

Boots of Swiftness could grant ignoring unit collision, perhaps, while maybe also extending the duration of speed up effects by 20%? That might be too much though, I'm not sure. D:

I just love using Ionian Boots of Lucidity, but now I get flamed lately for using it (and I understand why, which I've stopped using it since starting today).

I use lucidity boots quite a bit depending on the situation. As Ahri for example, it is quite nice to have the flash back up and ignite/whatever before the enemy gets their stuff back. I literally just used them yesterday and had 40% cdr in 2 items and did not have to worry about a third cdr item for a while (it didnt last that long) and allowed me to build Morello instead, or deathcap which increases my damage more than sorc boots and possibly Zhonyas. If I am vs a more tanky team that is known for building mr... or if we are a near full magic damage team.... sure. Sorc boots are nice.... but that can be done later on and you can save that 200-300 gold for another item.

Swifties I much prefer over Mobis because I do not like feeling like I have been slowed by literally even a caster minion. It is more consistant and is the second fastest boots still (fastest when in combat) and reduces slow effects on me so I may move just that bit faster.

In short, Lucidity boots while more situational are still quite good and they are cheap. Works great when you know you use your summoners a lot. Swifties is a personal preference and I do not feel it effects very much unless you are needing to get back to lane faster or unless you are a jungler.

Is that to say I would object to a little tlc for them? Not at all. Would be nice, however the item cdr would make the glacial + ingenious hunter + commencing stopwatch + 5% maxbreaking cdr even more attrocious. I do not use it myself, however I know that people are able to spam the items quite a bit already. Would make the boots more often used though.

they can't buff either because they are at the threshold of being overpowered. last time they did buff either we were in metas revolving around those specific boots. they are useful, they fill a niche, they have a use, they don't need to be OP though.

The Item CDR does sound cool for Ionian boots, I could imagine it being a pretty niche buff to people like Ezreal and Kayle who lost the klepto abuse and need to build Gunblade/BoTRK, the item CDR will give them back a bit of their power.

Your suggested Swiftness buff seems to be either op or pretty useless. The only people I can imagine utilizing the buff is Mundo and Olaf, who might become too unstoppable with it. I feel the issue with Swiftness is the core of the item.

Most often pure movespeed is useless, unless the champion's entire design is just to run down opponents.
