The game should be called Coinflip Legends.

Because I don't even know what to do anymore to carry a game, if you have useless teammates. Coinflip matchmaking, coinflip autofill, coinflip d5 players. It's frustrating as fuck. Thankfully, I stopped playing solo q 2 months ago, or I would've lost my mind playing this game. You can see it best when watching streams, one day they win all games, other days they lose most games... like what, does their skill change overnight ? No, it's just about what teammates they get. And if that doesn't convince you, just play a solo q game. See who's autofilled and who goes 0/10 and who has a better bot lane. I'm not even tilted anymore, I'm just sad about what's being done to the game.

You're wrong.

It should be called League Of Coinflips.

That means you're playing at your elo level if you're sitting at a 50% win-rate. I hate taking riot's side on things but you being at a 50% win-rate is a clear indicator their match making works. There's 10 players in the game and you expect yourself to be the carry in every single game you play? and not any of those other 10 players that are also just as good as you? Wishful thinking, it's a team game and the game is won as a team not by one person. If games were solely won off the back of one individual frequently, people would be complaining a shit load that something's broken and op.

If that is true then it means climbing is luck based since one person doesn't mean as much as the team and the team is randomly chosen.

Playing better than average and better than your elo doesnt necessarily mean carrying. Could just be consistently making one or two less mistakes that costs you the game

This exactly.

People think being better than their current rank means they can play for 2 days, or even weeks or months and go from Silver to Plat.

Having a 60% win rate, which is really strong, means you can play 100 games and move from something like Silver 3 to low Gold, then you're win rate at that level might drop a couple of percent, unless you're improving your play at the same rate that you are rising. It's still hundreds of games unless you get lucky and your wins all come in batches whilst your losses are spread out between wins. It's the long game and if you are truly having 50% games then you truly are where you are meant to be until you improve.

You will get games when the idiot player is on your team and an enemy gets fed, you'll get games when your lane opponent is an idiot and you get fed and carry. What matters is what you do when the games are somewhere between those extremes and those games are more common. The thing is, you'll always remember the big feeder games as they are very specific reason for the loss

How is it his elo level, when you say that games are considered by the team and not by him?

Because he's a member of the team???

Check out my win rate on ranked, I thought that to get better I needed to play ranked. Started at Silver III and climbed to Gold V, happiest day of my life no joke then now I’m in Silver IV 0 LP Because team mates flaming each other and blaming me even though they are feeding. Including me getting fed early then some how inting late game due to how trash my team normally is

It’s hard to keep a positive attitude so I took a 2 week break and came back and still dropping. I’ve gotten worse :( just put me in diamond pls

You don't want to be in diamond, in fact you don't want to be anywhere in the ranked ladder. Even people in challenger complain about having shitty teammates

Yeah that would be a sound branding decision.

Someone get Marketing in here, they gotta see this!

picking positions lead to even more specialization and thus lower quality games when they don't get their position/reduced general understanding

There's a difference between getting a lead in land and being in position to carry a game.

You are very right haha... Sadly riot denies it in their core

I always go with Champ Select Simulator when I have a game like that.

They should rename it to "Its a 5v5 game not a 1v1 game". You arent supposed to carry on your own, else ittd be a 1v1 or an fps.

It's always been like this, you just tend to notice it more when you're bored of the game and / or tilted.
