So, why does Riot refuse to nerf the issues?
"Poppy is too tanky and does too much damage!"
-
Nerfs E range, E damage, AA reset on passive / buffs passive duration and CD.
-
Buffs W speed boost and base MS.
-
Nerfs snapcast ult and passive duration.
... was the issue fixed? Nope! Instead of changing her Q's % health damage and her passive on her W, they nerf EVERYTHING BUT THE ISSUE, making the champion less fun to play and not at all viable outside of full tank top.
"Jayce is broken!"
-
Takes 10 damage off of hammer form Q
-
Adds 10 mana cost to cannon E
-
Cuts AD ratio on his lowest hitting ability in half
"Jayce is better now!"
"Kha does too much damage!"
-
Buffs everything, nerfs ult.
-
Takes 10 damage off Q, takes 10% CD reduction away, buffs Isolation damage.
So... you buffed his damage?
"Ashe is in every game and does too much damage!"
-
Nerfs W CD and mana cost.
-
Nerfs ult damage.
-
Nerfs Q duration, nerf passive slow but buff crit passive slow.
Yet, the issue is her Q applying on hits like 15 times over and lifestealing through the roof as well as melting even hyper tanks, and her passive that needs to be removed.
"Vlad is weak and can't really do much anymore!"
-
Nerfs him into the ground.
-
Nerfs him again, SLIGHT buff to his E and Q.
-
Buffs base Q, nerfs Crimson Rush (rewarding bad players?)
Yep! Vlad is fair now. We nerfed him 15 times so that he can compete!
Like, I don't get Riot's balance team. When the simplest solution is in front of them, they choose to ignore it, instead doing things that really don't even affect the issue the champ has. Remember when Riot took 3 AD from Vayne when she was literally 100% pick/ban?
