You know what's sad about Teemo?

Now I get that Teemo as a champion, has very diverse builds from on-hit tankmo, on-hit carrymo and AP burst

but this used-to-be-extremely frustrating furball... just isn't much in the whole scheme of frustration when you have champions like Yasuo Fizz Fiora Pantheon Lux Leblanc Katarina (Not saying these champions deserve a nerf, only saying they can be very unfun to play against) who normally tend to be a lot more frustrating than he is. Whether in lane, how they scale, stupid mechanics, mobility, and damage, I just really don't find Teemo that frustrating anymore.

Let's not forget the introduction of shimmer, item 3364 and item 2055. Red trinket especially, which awhile back before it stopped disabling traps, really destroyed any reason to play AP teemo over his superior on-hit builds.

His shrooms.... well.... I guess I still hate him for this... just a bit... but when you realise that an AP Maokai actually has an E(albeit shorter duration) that does damage almost on par of Teemo shrooms, it's kinda pathetic.

He's still frustrating to play against if you're melee It's just the same as heimedinger. If you're against the right matchups, you'll be extremely frustrating to play against. If you're not, you're pretty much screwed.

Teemo hasnt been frustrating since they removed the shroom stacking. No sustain, no mobility, no hard-cc, no true damage, ult dependant waveclear... Not an actual reason to hate him nowadays.

The whole "Teemo Satan" its just a meme.

I mean... The Teemo hate is mostly a meme at this point.

He might've been hated for real, back in S1, maybe S2, when his W was actually a good mobility tool and the top laners were using AAs for a good portion of their damage, but nowadays? As long as you have any idea how to play the matchup, he can be defeated with everyone on lane (and he's actually better in later parts of the game, due to pick potential and map control).

Just look at any of the "What champions do you hate" topics that show up from time to time. Teemo appears there, sure, but it's not really all that frequent (and usually only if the person list many champions at once). Also, there's very little explanation given, because frankly - outside of some irritation when you hit a shroom there's not much else to hate him for (and I'd argue there are MANY things that are more irritating than that) - at least not much else unique to Teemo (even the Frozen Mallet slow hate is there for every champ - and I'd argue that it's way more irritating to face an actually mobile ranged champion with it than Teemo).

Teemo is literally nothing... If you lose top lane against a melee bully it's exactly the same feeling if you ask me or if you're playing a tank. Down CS the whole game and wait for teamfights to make plays. At least Teemo is not that mobile.

Also, in your list of so-called annoying champions, I only find fizz and panthenon to even be annoying The others aren't that annoying, just mechanically intense to play against. All of them will be screwed if you dodge the right skills at the right time.

Edit: Except Fiora. (The two that I said are annoying don't count)

Honestly I feel like he deserves a rework to be a real scout. He should be able to deny enemy vision (more than just a blind on a target), and bypass enemy vision.

Sun Wu Ryuumoku5/29/2017, 1:32:47 PM2 votes

I just really don't find that frustrating anymore.

Good joke

Teemo has fallen at the way side in a world where many champs have multiple gap closers.

nice table5/29/2017, 5:48:33 PM2 votes

teemo was frustrating against immobile champions, well guess what? that's right mobility creep.

SlampieceHawke5/29/2017, 7:58:38 PM2 votes

But Fiora does deserve a nerf.

Azuregore5/30/2017, 12:48:08 AM2 votes

item 3194 / item 3065 with Mordekaiser makes teemo an unhappy champion.

Critmaster Garen5/30/2017, 12:33:05 PM2 votes

are you seriously complaining that hes not frustrating to fight?

i dont think a champion should be designed around giving his opponent an aneurysm. and teemo is still fucking frustrating to deal with. just because there are other champions that can be frustrating to fight, doesnt make this furball any less anoying.

Meep Man5/31/2017, 3:37:39 PM1 votes

I really think he could use a Shyvana level rework. Not a VGU, because his kit is fine OVERALL, but I think Riot should focus more on his Burst and Trap play style than his Rambo On-Hit play style. It would be more thematic and fun if Riot made Teemo actually plan out, stalk, and ambush enemies with actual Guerrilla Warfare than just have him be another on-hit user with his E.

http://prntscr.com/fdir0x just a small portion of my recent wins id show more wins but i play alot of arams

Blåbæret5/30/2017, 10:38:09 AM1 votes

I disagree. Teemo is the most frustrating champion in the game imo. Having 3 people buy sweeper just to deal with his shrooms. He's practically ungankable as well and wins about any lane. He should just be reworked and remove his zero counterplay blind while you're on it.

Jerry SeinfeId5/29/2017, 2:08:37 PM1 votes

He was the most annoying for a long time and made a name for himself/built up a reputation. champs were added that are worse to play against but they meme never left.

Sire Hippington5/29/2017, 2:26:36 PM1 votes

Tbh, i still rather face yasuo, fizz, fiora or even pant than satan him self...Teemo beeing the most annoying thing on earth became a meme for good reason.

Handy Sandy 5/29/2017, 1:38:53 PM1 votes

I don't know what it is about his autoattacks but mid/lategame they do so much damage O_O

6Sfool5/29/2017, 8:23:02 PM1 votes

He's not frustrating anymore, and I appreciate that.

Teridax685/29/2017, 3:46:15 PM1 votes

I don't agree with the implications of this reasoning. Yes, Teemo is a seriously irritating and frustrating champion to play against by design, and now he's comparatively less unpleasant than many more new or reworked champions, but that doesn't mean that champion design as a whole has become worse or led to more frustration. Teemo is comparatively less frustrating now because he himself has been aggressively balanced to be less irritating, with the slashes to his shrooms' AP ratios especially making him less liable to kill people for just walking through the map. By contrast, champions like Lux and Pantheon have retained the same core design over time, but are frustrating now because they're overtuned. Even in the case of reworks like LeBlanc or Katarina, I think much of the frustration comes from balancing problems, rather than their design (though LeBlanc arguably needs to be moved in a different direction). League has always had its flavor-of-the-month champions and the associated gripes that come from them; interpreting those changes as some kind of constant downhill journey merely sets yourself up for burnout.
