AD toplane thresh

He'd bully most top laners due to him being ranged and having flay to peel for himself. However if that's what you're looking for you might as well play . She does both of those, and does it better, since her abilities scale with AD.

Waveclear is a pretty big deal.

Did we forget why Lulu top/mid has long been a thing for 2 years because Riot was too scared to gut the living shit out of her waveclear (for the better)?

Ahh yes, Ad top Thresh. I too played that alot. Back when I was lvl 15 on my main 4 years ago.

mostly because he's actually quite squishy and has no good escapes, makeing him free-food for ganks. He also lacks waveclear, so many champs can just push him in easily.

Because top lane is the tank/juggernaut meta

It's sort of awkward really, it's just there's better champions for it. Also Shen's flay passive did receive a nerf a long time ago so that might be why.

i can see him work. totally. i mean. nautlius works why not thresh. he has self peel. great utility. and he has pretty decent damage with his W passive. i think its his W or whatever.

i think the biggest problem isn't wave clear. but rather. he will get absolutle.y shit on by ad top lane bullies. thresh. has no scaling armor. his base stats. are absolute shit. and he will get dumpster ed into the ground by darius garen and such.

My friend plays crit tresh top. It takes him anout 40 min to start doing something but once he comes down from top and 2 shots enemy carry it is fcking hilarious :D

But his lack of an early-game makes it difficult. His weak early game stats with lack of an escape make him an easy target.

And if that doesn't work keep pushing him into turret since there is 0 push or wave clear for thresh

Thresh's abilities don't scale with AD, so it isn't intuitive to build Thresh AD. Maybe it shouldn't matter since Thresh's abilities are really mostly about utility, but seeing as how Thresh is cemented in most player's mind as a support, and we don't really see wild success with the AD Thresh niche build top lane... it really doesn't come as a surprise that we don't see it that often.

welll if and , , , all go support they can top too but the issue is outside of , they have no natural wave clear and poor scalings at times therefore they will be pushed in the turrent alot , they work if they get a lead or behind slightly
