@Xypherous Warmogs was nerfed too hard, SV was nerfed too hard.

Warmogs is just a terrible item for all purposes now. Why do ADCs get to buy BT as a core item to also eliminate harass while tanks need to invest an item slot with no resists and barely above normal armor that takes an absurdly long time to work? How about with it's current stats Warmogs becomes 1.5% HP regen over time, 5% if outside of 8 seconds.

SV just needs to go to 125-150% HP regen. It got nerfed too hard and many MANY bruisers actually don't have HP regen at all and those that do only start to get to the 20 that would be equal to prepatch at level 16 when HP regen is worthless.

The values of almost all regen items, only exception being Aegis and its upgrades, are set arbitrarily at 100%. If regeneration proves to be too weak, Riot may want to adjust champion's base regen instead of items.

But yeah, SV and Banshee took a huge hit. Especially Banshee. That item had 45 flat regen in combat, now it has 100% at all times. Also, Banshee's combine cost went up to 1150, which is the hioghest for any tank item in the game.

I don't know about Banshee, but SV should definitely have 150% base regen and build out of Crystalline Bracer, lowering its combine cost to 950 gold.

I disagree with Banshee getting a hit. The item was amazing for the non-regen stats alone and the spell shield, and I feel that the health regen was not what you really got the item for, and this hasn't changed with the new Veil, not to mention all the other alternatives aren't as good as Banshee's.

Heres the deal though, if they don't plan on adding in more magic resist items and alternatives, then we shall always have a big issue with resists.

Although, I suppose before even adding in magic resist items (or any resist items at all) that they should fix penetrations so that they don't invalidate armor/mr so easily.

I fully agree with your point on penetration. They are strong enough to still allow tanks to be melted at times in the game where they should last a lot longer and squishies should be melted, and that should not happen.

I personally think they should move the CDR from Visage onto Bveil, and heavily amp it's sustain factor as a replacement. Like, go as far as 300% base hpregen amp and 25% amp to all self healing (from 20%). I just think that Visage should be THE tank sustain item, perhaps if you have to set it's regen to be 100%-300% based on how much HP you are missing, similar to the mastery that amps healing below 20% HP, just in a more gradual sense.

If poking the adc down to half ends a siege, games stop ending. That's why they get OP sustain.

Can't speak to Spirit Visage, but between the out-of-combat passive and the reduced cost, Warmog's just got the most insane buff. You may not like the stats, but it wasn't a nerf. (Also Braum loves loves loves new Warmog's on a siege team.)

Hash did the last patch make non irelia fighters able to lane again?

Also I'm not clear on how exactly they modified all stats but if they effectively shrunk hp pools by adding more ad does that mean ignite is any more viable?

Warmogs is better now, but that isn't saying much because it wasn't in the best of places before. If anything, Warmogs' ability to allow a champ to take some extra hits in a siege scenario gives it a much more distinct purpose than "grant tons of health and sustain, then just sustain tank everything", which can basically be termed as what it did before.

Spirit Visage was very niche as an item before, and only really usable by champs that had some sustain in their kits to use the passive. Is it better now? Maybe, maybe not. Specter's Cowl getting nerfed was probably the biggest hit the item got, although whether or not it was a nerf because of the reduced magic resistance or the buff to its cost and recipe is debatable.

The biggest thing I see from 4.20 is that against a heavy AP comp, it is actually somewhat possible to build almost pure magic resistance with the health from Warmog's Armor to sustain a lot of damage between Warmog's, Spirit Visage, and Banshee's Veil. In season 4 this was possible, but it was also horribly inefficient late game. Now, with the bonus regen from Warmog's when out of combat and the synergy between the passives of Warmog's and SV, you are regenerating tons of health if you can dodge a few skillshots.

Tank items aren't for adcs.... So no more nerfs coming soon.
