https://gyazo.com/fb65957672f1678a57b32c3d087d1f3c I had the second most gold in the game. The score was 13/49. I was the only one dealing relevant damage on my team, the only one able to make a fight worthwhile, and i was the highest level in the game.

CS really matters.

when the gold is all concentrated on one person then the enemy team just has to kill that one person to win while if the gold is more evenly distributed then the enemy team will have a harder time deciding who is the best target to kill first.

Also ofc people in low elo is going to think that. Why you think they are in low elo? it's because there are things they don't realize or notice when they do then they would have climbed to silver and/or gold and the more they improve the more they climb

His point still stands though.

the point of what? that low tier players don't care about stuff that they should be caring? anyone that cares about improving will notice that "hey getting high CS also gets me gold!" that is one of the most basic things in the game and my point still stands. If he is in bronze then there is something he is not noticing or he is unable to do and needs to work on himself and improve himself rather than worrying about his teammates. Hell is he is that worried about them then he should tell them in game that they should be getting more CS

Woodakoodashooda1 votes

This is old knowledge,

Marshbouy1 votes

have you ever played in bronze or met a bronze player with 100+ games in bronze? A good portion of them think CS is useless and kills matter.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

well that is cuz they fail to realize the game isnt call of duty, mortal combat, street fighter.

it is a objective based game... objectives win... kills are part of securing objectives but you can technically win with out ever killing any one

Marshbouy1 votes

^^^^^ Breaking the mentality that you stated is pretty much all you need to get out of bronze 5.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

and how do you improve "team gold" ?

objectives kills asst cuz objectives provides gold for team ( turrets ) (neutral buffs that effectively give you gold stats by buffing stats) kills typically allow you to take objectives and provide more cs to you and less to enemy, and if kills have asst its more gold spread across team instead of one player

Marshbouy1 votes

And how do you improve team gold? By getting your teammates to CS, so you can get objectives, so you can get kills, so you can win the game.

Are you honestly arguing here that i was in the wrong for CSing and defending lanes when my team blatantly refused?

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

never said you were wrong to cs , it is an important part of the game but when you are as far behind as you are in that game with that big of a gold gap from player to player , team to team the only way you have any way of winning is drag it out where gold and items dont matter cuz its lvl 18 and all are full build and hope someone makes a pick/out play and win a fight with long death timers to finish game...

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

but when your team does this :

constantly suiciding -constantly fighting the enemy when at a disadvantage -constantly yelling at each other in chat -flatly ignoring ways of gold generation(lee sin didn't buy a support item

cs isnt gonna change anything

Marshbouy1 votes

um. Yes it can. If your team gets CS then they can close the afforementioned gold lead and have a better chance at getting kills, objectives, and winning the game.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

but they arent doing that... they are doing constantly suiciding -constantly fighting the enemy when at a disadvantage -constantly yelling at each other in chat -flatly ignoring ways of gold generation(lee sin didn't buy a support item

which means either they have no clue how to go about winning game... or the concept of the game

and if they are getting out played that bad... *cuz your enemy team didnt get a 7 k gold lead per player out of no where * they wouldnt know what to do if they are even in gold

Marshbouy1 votes

I have no idea what you are saying at this point.

You are literally arguing that i lost the game because i lost the game. Then you proceed to tell me that they are bad at the game, something i already know, then tell me that them improving would change absolutely nothing.

What?

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

then the amount of cs wouldnt matter if they are bad and your enemy is better

Marshbouy1 votes

that's why i am telling people to be better get more CS>more gold>more gold>more strength>more strength>the possibility for more kills, more CS, more objectives>more kills, more CS, more objectives>more strength

Repeat until the nexus falls.

It's incredibly simple.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

they arent gonna listen to you... the only thing you can do is improve yourself and let the others fall by the way side ... you are just creating more frustration for yourself... control what you can... and if you get better and improve as a player you will climb to the elo/rank your skill is suppose to be at

Marshbouy1 votes

Yeah okay. I'll try and improve myself by getting better at CSing. I'll tell other people that CSing is important so they can improve too.

I see no issue here.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

only help those who want help , dont worry bout the others.. cuz heres a lil paradox you need to consider...

if every one gets better at the game then you have to be even better then them to climb above them..

kinda like when higher elos dont wanna give tips or help lower players cuz if the entire player base is better its that much harder to be better then the majority

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

what you fail to take away that the enemy team had gold spread near even across all 5 members and were double the gold income of your 4 teammates on average

Marshbouy2 votes

What you fail to take away was that my team was -constantly suiciding -refusing to CS -constantly fighting the enemy when at a disadvantage -constantly yelling at each other in chat -flatly ignoring ways of gold generation(lee sin didn't buy a support item

I don't see how my team doing bad somehow makes CS less important though.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

my context isnt that cs is bad... my context is lack of gold is what caused your team to lose and do badly regardless of how that income gap happen

Marshbouy4 votes

And how do you get more gold?

oSEXYPLATYPUSo2 votes

objectives, kills asst

Marshbouy2 votes

And if you have a

lack of gold

and can't contest objectives, get kills or assists?

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

so the issue isnt cs the issue is

constantly suiciding -constantly fighting the enemy when at a disadvantage -constantly yelling at each other in chat -flatly ignoring ways of gold generation(lee sin didn't buy a support item

which gave the other team more kills (gold) asst ( gold ) objectives (gold )

Marshbouy1 votes

I am talking about how to close the gold gap. The issues with my team are entirely independent in this post. You said

what you fail to take away that the enemy team had gold spread near even across all 5 members and were double the gold income of your 4 teammates on average

which was fairly irrelevant to the point of "cs makes you stronger" but i explained why they let the gold gap get so large.

my context isnt that cs is bad... my context is lack of gold is what caused your team to lose and do badly regardless of how that income gap happen

So you then stated again that we had a large income gap. So what? I am not talking about winning or losing. I am talking about what you can to do get a better chance of winning.

I'd also like to point out that the enemy team had 30.25 more CS than my team (to be fair i cut off my CS and the enemy ezreal's CS) than our team. That factors to about (30.25*24)726 gold per person. Times that by 4 (the number of champions on each team that i counted) and that comes to about 3k.

That's 3k gold that my team essentially just left in the ditch because they didn't want to CS.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

but the average gap of gold income was closer to 7k gold not 3k so it wasnt just cs...

cs is part of it

but if you close the game by 3 k gold you are still 4 k gold down per man

Marshbouy1 votes

In hindsight this game was a bad example because the enemy steamrolled us so hard. Seriously, the vlad legit intentionally fed.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

but a 13-15 cs is = to a kill gold wise and experience wise however a kill grants gold plus with an enemy dead they cant cs or generate gold becoming further behind ... while not only do you get the gold for the kill you also get more cs uncontested , objectives, and that gap gets bigger and bigger

Marshbouy1 votes

You are now arguing that CS is less important to a kill. Wow. When you go in for a kill you risk dying yourself. This means that you can give the advantages that you stated to them. Furthermore there is a large chance that going for that kill now resulted in you burning HP, mana, and cooldowns. That makes it more difficult to contest objectives.

Gaining a CS lead is imperative to gaining a gold lead. Getting kills and objectives is simply not going to happen until later into the game. The best thing to do is to cs as much as possible then use that gold lead to get more CS, more kills, and more objectives then win the game.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

you miss the context again... if we are in a game and i have killed you ... you are dead... i get 300 gold i get free cs... deny you cs and gold income increasing my power over you and when you are back in lane i will always have that cs lead even if you get 15 cs more them me cuz of the time you spent dead not getting cs or gold

Marshbouy1 votes

My head hurts. this is a waste of my time. You are saying absolutely nothing of value and actually agreeing with me.
