Irelia is broken, if anyone doesn't think so please tell me why.

I really want to know why her kit isn't unhealthy. Please give me some reasons so I can believe she isn't broken.

Looks pretty balanced to me. Got recent nerfs and is holding the 20th winrate out of toplaners.

She's not broken at all, however a rumble top feeding an Irelia will certainly cause problems.

Plus you bought TWO item 3115 which i dont think i've seen anyone do that on Azir.

late game where everyone pretty much has full build a tank irelia can 1v5 a whole team. rumble got first blood on irelia btw. with the build i had i could litterally kill mf and ashe in a couple seconds, its a marksman build I heard about and it works really good.

the reason you don't build two of the same item is you're completely wasting the unique passive. There's really never a time when it's the optimal build path.

A tank irelia cant 1v5 (hell, illaoi cant 1v5 against any decent team), but it wasnt a tank irelia you faced though anyway

If it was a "tank irelia" they wouldnt had bought Rageblade and Maw and Iceborn would of been deadman plate.

rumble got first blood on irelia btw.

While always nice, first blood doesnt determine anything. its a nice gold jump but only if you can make it worth it.

Interesting. Most people just build more AP and some health though.

she is very much like Nassus at this point, Unstoppable if fed (stacked) easy to handle in lane if you have the right champion

Basically this, if you focus her in teamfights and your adc has half a brain. And shes not crazy fed, she dies.. almost instantly. Shes like a weaker tank if shes not fed. She will always do damage, but its not even near enough to kill carries mid game if shes not fed unless your carries have very poor positioning and no one to peel for them.

And she has some really bad matchup in lane, like Renekton, Trundle, Darius. Also champions that outscale her or does more in teamfights, Jax, Nasus, Wukong, Malphite. Theres a bunch of ways to take her down in lane if you know how to play against her. And with the nerfs she has been receiving the past 3.. 3 patches! She is pretty good now, I wouldnt say completely balance, but shes fine now as a champion. Not broken but not weak.

The only way to know how to play against her, is to PLAY her. Just like how I learnt how to play against Riven when I had trouble with her and thought she was op. But now I dont, shes a mid-tier top lane champion now imo.

A champ being "broken" as in "too strong" is a different thing then unhealthy though. Old Yorick for example was deemed completely toxic and unhealthy the way he is of right now (thats why they reworked him), but noone would say that he is "broken" too strong. So, are you complaining about Irelia being to strong right now? If so, no, I don't believe she is too strong after the recent nerfs. She is good, and she still spikes really hard midgame with the Triforce Powerspike, but she is not overpowered as of right now. She falls of lategame compared to other champs since her W doesn't scale at all and she certainly cannot 1v5 unless she is ridiculously far ahead and you are playing a team with 0 CC.

Her Kit however is I think even by Riot themselves seen as unhealthy and in need of changes at some point but that requires more resources since you don't just change some numbers but need to change her abilites. Either as part of a Diver-Class Update or even a full singular Champion-Rework.

If you contain an irelia during the laning phase she will fall off hard come late game in team fights. I will admit if you feed her a few kills early and let her get a level advantage she can take over a game with small skirmishes and picks

It's just that every single time there's an irelia on the enemy team she ends up carrying hard and nobody can stop her. It's not just the game I played earlier today, it's every single time.
