Why is not dying so difficult?

I'v had 3 games in a row where 2 or more of laner's just couldn't stop dying, like, how hard is it to just simply make it your goal to Not Die.

Like, i made that my goal and my KDA in almost all my games reflects it, you win more when you die less, i'd argue that dying less especially in low elo like where i'm at is much better than any of the guides about CSing, Lane Control, Jungle Control ect because in Low ELO most of that stuff doesn't matter as long as the enemy doesn't get fed because 90% of your enemies don't know any of that stuff anyway so as long as you DO NOT DIE! They probably can't win.

Just don't die, that's all i ask, i just want one game today where my laner's don't straight up die 8 times in a row, to be fair i won one of those but let's be real it was pure luck and a couple of good steals but still, it was FAR HARDER simply because they kept dying. Stop Dying.

  1. Don't listen to your teamates when they get into fight's you know you can't win.

Gnar get's caught in a 3v1, frantically pings for assistance, don't help him he's dead and chances are your not going to get anything out of that especially if your the only person capable of helping him.

  1. In lane play safer around your enemies strengths.

VS an Assassin for example you, as a mage, should be focused more on farming, keep your positioning far enough back that they have to use at least one ability to get to you, this way they limit their ability to kill you because they used one of those ability just to get to you. If the assassin has a level 6 power spike be prepared for it and continue to play safely out of their effective range.

Don't forget that while Mages excel at Poking and Harrassing from range early on, in most Assassin matchups they start losing trades at level 3, especially if your not doing a good job keeping your spacing, dodging and hitting skillshots. (I have lost many a matchup just because of those three things.)

  1. You lost once in lane already, What do? You know your being camped, what do?

It sucks and it's definitely not fun but you need to accept that fighting the enemy laner isn't something your capable of right now, your much better off going 0/1 with a slight CS disadvantage than going 0/6 with a huge CS and EXP disadvantage because you've died so many times. Focus on CSing and let them push the wave, farm as much as you can, keep your level close to their's the more you die the more EXP you miss out on.

  1. Don't bite the hand that ganks for you.

If your jungler refuses to gank you there's probably a reason why, if i see a fed laner i tend to ignore that lane because i don't want to make it worse and depending on the champion i'v learned from my 400+ games on Evelynn(for example) that i can't help you. In addition i certainly won't help you if they keep getting more fed and if you keep blaming me.

There's probably more but what i'm saying here is that sure in High ELO CSing is more important, because high ELO games tend to have less Deaths and therefore less gold obtained from Kill's/ Assists. This means that they need to CS much better in order to obtain an advantage, they need to have a much better understanding of Lane Control and Wave Control because CS advantages can lead to kill advantages.

In Low ELO this isn't nearly as true, most player's(Including myself) have incredibly bad CS most of the time because were just not as skilled at it. In Low ELO games there's much more deaths on average and much less CS, meaning that a large portion of the gold the enemy get's is simply because you keep dying. If you work hard on dying less you'll see situations where the enemy threw their lead from that kill they got on you because they couldn't CS to make up for the fact that your too hard to kill for them to get super fed off of. You'll also find that your no longer 2-3 levels behind the enemy laner because your actually there for the EXP.

You see, at the same time your teammates are trying to not die, there are other people - your opponents - who are also doing their best to prevent your teammates from not dying. Think of it like a kind of game.

not dying is really hard for low elo because people don't understand how zones work in practice.
