What would you even spend the Blue Essence/IP on anyway?

This question is for those who are pissed about the refund conversion rate. What is there to even spend the Blue Essence on?

I've been here since season 2 myself, and I'll be getting around 40,000 BE based on my runes and rune pages. Let's say Riot caves and makes that 40,000 into 160,000. Oh yea, cha-ching! Now what? They can just as easily scale up the limited time shop prices the same way. They can make Urfwick 600,000 BE instead. The end result is the same. It really doesn't make any difference whether we get 10% return or 60%. Is it to brag about owning every champion even when you know you won't play all of them? Is it to tell girls you got six figs of LoL currency in the bank? Someone enlighten me.

I have all the runes and rune pages (which I know I bought at least 14 with RP because of buying 2 rune page bundles in the past). So if my understanding is correct, I'll get like 87300 BE back from the runes alone + like 4 epic skin shards when this all goes through. I personally don't mind this all that much, since I already have all the champions and there isn't to much for me to even spend the IP/BE on anyways. Yes they will put up a shop for us but I don't really care for urfwick at all so I don't have to stress about getting 150k BE for it, and I'm sure all the other stuff in that shop will be normally priced and not overpriced because "mah rarity" factor. I look forward to seeing what other things are in the shop though, if nothing interests me then I'll prob just settle for chromas.

Well some of the rewards that I might be interested in:

Chromas = 2000 IP Rune Hero Icons = 3000 IP Mystery Ward Skins = 4900 IP

And that's me because I have little to no interest in expanding my champion roster or any of the skins shown as high IP sinks like Urfwick.

More or less, I'm a bit miffed that there is a flat rate of refund value for runes that were not equally priced to begin with. Depending on your rune selection, you could get as low as a 12% refund value (100 ip for an 820 rune) to as high as a 49% (100 ip for a 205 rune).

Based on the video, I see a 150k Urfwick skin, 2500 for exclusive mystery icons, 4900 for mystery ward skin box, and "Much Chroma. Such Wow." I'll likely have 450k+ BE according to the current proposed rates, and could have upwards to 600k+ if my runes were fully refunded, and anywhere between if they decided to adjust the numbers. I'll likely get the wards, the icons, and as many Chromas as possible.
