I'm slowly feeling less inclined to play because I genuinely feel AD champs get better items/runes.

If you look at all the latest item updates, AP champs got 1 new item...

AD champs got 3 new items , spear of shojin and Atma's reckoning. Even essence Reaver can be considered new because it has been completely reworked.

When you look at , the item is extremely gated with long charge times and 4 seconds of active use. The new essence reaver is up every 30-60 seconds, actives within 10 seconds of autoattack, and thereafter last 8 seconds. That not even taking into account how broken 20% off none ult spells per attack are. With spell binder, the active is nothing new, just an unreliable stat boost.

The point I'm making here, is Essence reaver passive is broken, and has more up time than spell binder.

Spear of shojin, damage blocker per incoming damage tick. Atma, insane AD over time.

Mages never get anything like this. If anything is ever good it gets the shit nerfed out of it.

If you look at runes, sorcery doesn't even feel like its meant for mages anymore. Its filled with a bunch of conditional stats boost and no utility besides formula 1 move speed for fighters while other trees are more specialised for their classes such as precision is for ADCs

Then when they add something good, like Nimbus cloak, they take away ultimate hunter and give it to domination while at the same time adding a completely new keystone, Hail of blades.

The thing is, there are over 50 AP champ in the game, I don't get why AP champs are constantly getting the short end of the stick.
