Can we get an item that repels CC after several CC spells are applied?

The concept of the item is that for each time a champions movement is impaired for a short duration (say 5 seconds), the champion gains significant tenacity increases to a point where he can no longer be disabled for a shorter duration (let’s say 2 seconds). After this effect, the item goes on cooldown and the champions tenacity returns to its normal levels. Make the item purely HP, don’t tie it to MR or Armor (this would make it blatantly unfair against one class). Give it some regen or some other generic stat (anything but CDR) to make it a little more appealing, but make the cost entirely based around its passive.

This would significantly reduce the effectiveness of brainless chain cc spam, and it being purely HP with no offensive stats would make it appealing to bruisers and maybe even tanks.

"Brainless Chain CC Spam"? That doesn't make sense. Brainless teams will dump all of their CC immediately and not properly chain it. It takes a brain to know when to apply the next one to a target.

On that note, the item idea is interesting but it would still just be run by hypercarries more than tanks or whatever.

CC is so freely available at this point due to everything having 40% CDR + riot giving everything CC. The strategy of saving CC for champions just doesn’t work anymore: it’s easy to chain CC one target and blow them up if they’re squishy, and if they’re not you’ll neautralize them to nothingness by not allowing them to move their character. Given the constant access to CC, this doesn’t cost anybody much.

As for hypercarries/squishies, I disagree. For these champions, being cc’d once is usually death. Since this item would only offer HP and no resistances or offense, it won’t really prolong their lives since they’d die before the cc immunity threshold would be reached. You’d have to dedicate an entire comp to pull that off and that has its own weaknesses (if the hyper carry never gets going for example).

You know what chain cc means?

It means you don't overlap your CC and instead use them consecutively.

Can you imagine not being able to chain cc champions like Master Yi and tryndamere.

If they build this item, they need to invest in heavy defense to make it effective. It does squishy champions no good. Even trynds ult wouldn’t help him much, it’d practically be gone by the time the item goes into effect. The concept of this item is to help immobile bruisers and tanks deal with CC spam.

We have 0 ways to deal with physical damage, but Chain CC is what worries you?

Also, tenacity means fuck all since displacements and knockups don't give a fuck.

I am not against the idea, but we already have a way to have 50%+ tenacity passively. What we need is ways to deal with physical/.

I just thought of a better idea.

Make an item (i don't care about stats, that's on riot) that gains stacks on being hard CCd. then at 20 (again riot can fix the numbers, the idea is what matters) stacks it procs and gives you a 3 second olaf ultimate.

It allows for a lot of counter play because the enemy can proc it and it is not an active.
